  1. 2012 my arse! The apocalypse is upon us now. Don actually went to the dunes. Glad to hear you had a good time with friends and family. Took my family to Vegas to catch some shows and lose my a$$. Did both sucessfully! Have a Dumont trip coming up in the near future, first of the year after several Glamis and Little Sahara trips. See ya'll there.
  2. Sorry to hear that so many folks had bad luck with their Trailblazers. I bought two 01's for the kids and they had many many enjoyable hours on them. They were heavy but with that weight came reliablity and dependability. Those steel running boards were nice when the boys started emulating the Metal Mulisha and couldn't keep their butts on the seats! Made for some safe landings of unsafe launches. Starting out on big, tall, and heavy Trailblazers made for a smooth transition straight to the DS650's. They are now quite good riders if I don't say so myself. Back to your power issues... they are heavy and underpowered for the sand but get ahold of Ritter Cycle Racing. They have an all in one package for the 250 Trailblazer that made a night and day difference. If I remember correctly it was around $280 to the front door. Included a tuned pipe, clutch springs, clutch weights, jets, and very simple and easy to follow instructions. What was a slow to the top end crawl turned into a wheelie popping helluva fun ride. Didn't affect the reliability a bit. $$$ well spent in my opinion. Having said all of that, the HO 400 Scrambler is about the same size and stance as the Trailblazer, with tons more power. Trailblazers do hold their resale value as they are a great beginers or wife/girlfriends bike.
  3. Where in Cal are you located? You can't expect much bike for what you're offering but there are some DS's out there in that range that need SOME work. How much TLC are you talking about???
  4. Smooth buffs all the way. AMS Whipsnake is by far the lightest tire made for sand. I've tried everything on the market and they are the funnest tire I've run. 23's up front and 22 Sand Stars in the rear and you can sling that thing around with ease, and gain some much needed clearance for those unexpected rocks that can appear from time to time. Hang on and enjoy.
  5. Leaving in the morning, any other ideas floating around? I'm game to try about anything.
  6. Website states that you need a government issued Nevada ID with your picture, such as a drivers license. None of ya'll are as big and ugly as me so I don't guess that would work! It mentions utility bills NOT working. Thanks for the offer.
  7. Max of life in prison is crap. He should be strung up by his nads and beat like a pinata. Hopefully the rest of his crew will be caught and brought to justice along with this turd. Three hots a day, a roof over his head, an education, and some quality recreation time for the rest of his life funded by us good ol' citizens of the USA. Amazing!
  8. Thanks Andy, looks like a good deal for the local folks. I'm in 29 Palms, CA so they won't have me...
  9. Looking for some suggestions on things to see and do in Vegas for reasonable cost. My transmission went out at Glamis on Halloween and I'm picking the truck up Saturday with a $5K+ tab. Taking the family to Vegas Tuesday-Friday to try and spend some quality time together but we've had a helluva time trying to find groups of five tickets to stuff like the Blue Man Group, Penn & Teller, Amazing Johnathan, etc. Do any of you locals know what the tricks are to scoring any tix to anything decent that aren't $80-150 each? Found two tix to Blue Man and P&T for $200 for the two pairs on Craigslist but we need five! We're staying at the Imperial Palace for it's central location but it looks like it's going to be a low key laid back affair if no shows are affordable for the family. Not a problem, but we've been searching for over a month for groups of four or five to things that we like and they don't seem to exist... Was even going to take the boys over to do the zip lines but my fat a$$ is too heavy to ride. Any suggestions??? Low cost places to eat too???
  10. Sounds and looks like I missed another awesome weekend at the D. Tranny on the F-350 went out down at Glamis over Halloween and I'm still down for the count. Maybe this weekend....
  11. "You must not have been loved much as a child", speaking of #15 for New Mexico. That's one angry biatch. Effin' sore loser...
  12. I'd think if you spent all of that money for a pass that you would have some RIGHT to pull this thing one direction or the other if it saves you from ripping the shocks off of your hauler. I may be way wrong but it just seems, you know? Question is though, if you have a hauler hooked up then what are you going to hitch this thing to? And with all of the varying sizes of balls what is the catch all for anyone WILLING to drag this with thing with them? I'd do it if it was there at the entrance or exit on my way in or out, as long as it wasn't a twenty minute ordeal unhitching and moving it to the side of the road for the next fella. Or lady.
  13. I will volunteer to drag it in my free time utilizing my F-350. And Obama!
  14. Yep! And the economy is supposed to be EFFED up???
  15. And just what would there be to keep you on your toes if you didn't have a couple of drive by political naysayers amoungst the crew??? :peeps:
  16. I know him too and I'm waiting on him to get me a Polaris RZR S for dirt cheap! Your bro has my number if you should happen to stumble upon one...
  17. Exactly. It can always lead to a friendly debate and doesn't have to have a conclusion. Just a time to reflect and think. In my short while here on earth I just feel that the further this country strays from what it was founded on the worse we've become as a people and a society. We're going down a slippery slope from which it will take a long time to recover. And the NWO may be upon us by then. I'm just hoping the conclusion is a bunch of damn cannibal pygmies and Tremors worms fly up out of the sand and do away with us quickly.
  18. DID YOU KNOW? As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view ... it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments! DID YOU KNOW? As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door. DID YOU KNOW? As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments! DID YOU KNOW? There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington , D.C. DID YOU KNOW? James Madison, the fourth president, known as 'The Father of Our Constitution' made the following statement: We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.' DID YOU KNOW? Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777. DID YOU KNOW? Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies. DID YOU KNOW? Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law an oligarchy the rule of few over many. How then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional? Lets put it around the world and let the world see and remember what this great country was built on. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God... Therefore, it is very hard to understand why there is such a mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or 'In God We Trust' on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the other 14% to Sit Down and BE QUIET!!!
  19. Uh Oh! All ya'll gonna be stankin' and shiatt now. Glad I'm going to be in Glamis where I can just jump in the canal and freshen up. Seriously though, I hope they atleast give it a try and see how many peeps actually do use the service. I know getting water out there can be an issue, but they will never know true intrest until it's set up and available. Let's hope it's just rumor.
  20. Oh hell here we go again. Time for our three resident non-conformists to call out all of us cracka azz'd muffhuggas that don't bow down to Obama, and state how all of us Military members are a bunch of puzzies. But we defended their right to state what they feel so let's have it. I want to raise a toast to Tripleshot for being what Democrats USED to be. Growing up in Arkansas I have a true understanding of what that party used to stand for, it is now NOTHING like what I grew up being. Haven't switched parties, just matured enough to know that they both suck and have become an informed conservative independant, an average American that like the majority can't afford a Harley but would love to be able to purchase American made items if they ever become available again.
  21. Yep, saw it coming, no idea at all why he was awarded the Nobel from you. They actually decided to award it to him after ELEVEN days in office. I would rest my case there but I'm guessing that you haven't ever heard of a crazy little thing called ACORN? There is a guy testifying against them and supposedly has proof that he filled out and voted with 19 different voter registration cards. For a bottle of Mad Dog for each card signed. Looks like alot less folks voted for him than we thought. And the majority of them are pissed off at him by now. Anyway, he hasn't affected my well being at all. As long as there is Islam I will have a very nice job. It's actually 26 years of service to the Country and the Marine Corps, not 18. I didn't claim to know anything, much less everything as you stated, and all of my service was/is given to ensure that everyone is able to have a different opinion, and that others are able to disgree. Ain't America great??? I only claim to be able to bust a cap in a fuggers temple from 1000yds. That's all. Tell your Pops his service is greatly appreciated. Airbourne is hardcore to begin with, but back then especially so. Not quite sure how he's seen allot more than myself but hopefully he enjoyed his many tours. As far as the chill pill goes, if I were anymore mellow I'd be in a coma. Semper Fi Ace
  22. Awesome Eric. Once again. Good to see a DS back on top, and a good showing from the NoMercyRacing crew. Annihilator back in the game! 'Bout damn time. I'll hang with you guys down at Glamis and hopefully we'll get the DS800 Turbo bugs worked out for BigRay. How about the Beast? You didn't retire that thing did you?
  23. Even if she looks like Aunt Jemima??? :B :ah: :argue:
  24. *Actual attendant may vary! Now that's funny right there. I've used these facilities down at Fontana when I used to work security at the track and I must say the attendants looked a whole lot closer to Aunt Jemima than the model shown. Regardless, it was a nice hot shower and was kept very clean. I can see it being utilized if the price is right. Lots of folks still doing the tent thing nowadays and this would be a nice supplement to the experience. Cost?
  25. Chill mang, I didn't call him any names, especially a homosexual. Name calling is forbidden on this site. I said he was showing his tendencies again. He was all slobbering and panting over Obama on an older thread and I was just ribbing. You are some kinda wound up tight today. I would have said bro you're a freakin' fag if I were to do some name calling but since I don't know him well enough to go there I didn't. Just FYI, Marine is always capitalized, just like Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Not many cowards in the Corps, guess I slipped in under the radar.
