  1. Wow! SERIOUSLY??? Just got back in to Cali from Christmas vacation in Arkansas and read every post on this thread. I'm just not seeing it. Are you really that high strung? I'm thinking maybe the Marine Corps could use a few badasses like yourself. Being a Razorback I thought I knew a little bit about football but I thought the part about roids shriveling your junk and making you all violent and whatnot was just a fallacy. Thanks for enlightening me that it is in fact true. Pretty insane post for a DDR rookie. Maybe this place isn't for you, need a little thick skin to play in these parts. Thanks though for supporting our troops. Semper Fi Ace
  2. Looks alot like home. Enjoy yourself out here. This ain't a bad time to visit either, weather is damn near perfect. Semper Fi
  3. Thanks to eMpTV it's all about the gimmick and talent is no longer a requirement. Man I miss the AOR days when bands put out albums with six or seven decent songs on them and radio would actually play them all. Then the 80's came rolling in and if you had one hit that is all that American radio would play until you were sick of it, then on to the next album. It's amazing to go overseas and see the difference between American rock radio compared to the rest of the world. I'll throw a couple out for an example as most folks on here are too young to know or understand what I'm talking about. Thin Lizzy and UFO, by far two of the best bands ever of any genre. To the casual rock fan you would think they each only had a hit or two and in America they were lucky to sell out 5-7000 seat arenas. In Europe, Japan, and elsewhere they headlined festivals with upwards of 80-100,000 fans. And as a prime example with a band that probably most on here have atleast heard of: Iron Maiden. I attended their show at Glen Helen in June which was their largest crowd EVER in America at 50,000+. This same band for years has been playing EU, Asia, South America and everywhere in between to crowds on most occasions of 100,000+ and even had a gig in Rio with 300,000+. That's over a quarter of a Million fans kiddies! All from a band that you NEVER hear on American rock radio. But overseas, where good music is appreciated as opposed to a good gimmick, you can hear them all day long. Up the Irons \m/
  4. Only in America... And to think that some 91% of his own kind are satisfied with the job Obama is doing and would vote for him again. I don't see any hope for the forseeable future but I am doing my Constitutional duty. I am reloading like the zombies have been unleashed. It doesn't matter what party they are from, career politicians have to go. Let's get some business folks that know how to restore the economy in office and unass America. Let the states police themselves, it's obvious Washington can't handle the job. How bad does it have to get before the general public starts to retaliate??? Semper Fi
  5. Now that's funny right there. I think! So what's the real story? I'm sure alot of folks are going to be interested with the title and your brief description. Maybe it was one of those had to be there things and I wasn't so if it's an inside joke then I missed out. Did anybody claim her yet?!?!?
  6. Glad they fixed it for you guys. I went out there two weeks ago and it was by far the worst I had seen it in all of my time of visiting Dumont. Even hoped to never return as it was damn near unbearable. Will probably put my season pass in the classifieds... This weekend at Glamis Wash Road was as smooth as Gecko Road, and is normally always that way. BLM put in many many hours of hard work over the off season to get the foundation raised and hardened. Kept it moist all weekend too so no dust came from the road at all. Thumbs up to BLM for making the trip to the camp areas enjoyable. Not sure why the same can't be done for the Dumont entrance???
  7. I'll be out to shake down the DS730. Sounds good in the garage and I can't wait to see how she holds up against a DS770 and a DS800Turbo that will be in camp. Got a 720 kit for one of the DS's that will be bolted on for the next trip at Glamis for Halloween. Gotta make room in the stable for a Commander so two of the four DS's will have to go to proud new owners.
  8. Just recieved a return call from a kind lady at Kinsail in Viginia. She stated the reason for the site still showing last seasons holiday dates and not being updated for the 2010/11 season is that they have yet to recieve this seasons passes from BLM. I explained that the site also did not give any option to recieve the $10 discount for ordering in September and she ensured me that the discount would be given. Guess if you've already ordered and were charged the additional $10 that you may want to contact them to get a refund. Been trying to order all morning and their server is down. Hopefully when it pops back up the current information will be available.
  9. Thank you. I tried to explain that in my previous post and the Pres kicked me in the ding ding and tried to put the tard cap on me. Just patiently waiting on them to update the site but looks like time is running out.
  10. C'mon now, I know the dates of the holidays for the upcoming season. My point is that the Kinsail site hasn't yet been updated with this years passes. And it doesn't give you the option to get the $10 off for ordering in September. Little credit here! And yes I do think they would sell you a pass good for the rest of September. Afterall the news ones aren't valid until October 1st. :B
  11. Very much the same as last year as each link list the 09/10 holiday periods! So if we purchase now they will send the 10/11 passes correct? I may wait until they update their info to ensure I don't buy another 09/10 pass for the few weeks left in last season. Gotta get the Mother G pass too. Can't believe we have to pay for Dumont and Glamis when St. Anthony's is FREE, and 10 times the riding experience of both combined. Just got back from six days up there. Can't be beat.

  13. What? I was saying you boys were dumb with your wordplay on colon, and that it must be the heat that was affecting you, that's not off topic. Maybe the St. A's part, a little, but I was letting you know that I was heading for the cooler weather to clear my heat drenched brain. Anyway....
  14. You fuggers are dumb. Summer heat must be gettin' to ya'll. 108 here in 29 Palms today. Heading to St. A's next Wednesday and looks like the highs are going to be in the 70's through Labor Day. And lows in the 40's! Tentin' it so it's gonna be a comfortable stay. But back to the heat on the 7th...
  15. ALWAYS use paypal linked to a credit card. Gives you three sources of insurance, ebay, paypal, and your cc company. If you have gone through paypal's dispute resolution process, normally, in my experience anyway, your cc company will credit the lost funds back to your account. Works that way with MBNA I know. Best thing to do if you have the time and want to dedicate the effort is beat this foolio at his own little game and go down and pay your $25-30 and file your won small claim against him. Been doing eBay since 98, have 1000+, 100% positive feedback and have had minimal problems, three total from exactly what you are describing, wrongly advertised merchandise. Two of them closed thier accounts before paypal could recover funds after ruling in my favor, Notified MBNA and was promptly refunded lost funds. Paypal refunded the other. One of these was over $400 and would have really chaffed my azz had I not gotten the money back. Don't like that eBay double dips with fees from paypal BUT I'm glad they back up their system like they do.
  16. Kickin' it off on Sept 1st up at St. Anthony's for a week. Day trippin' over to Yellowstone while we're right there anyway, and a couple of hours in that badazz ice cave that's nearby. Then back to this hellhole of the Mojave desert until it cools down enoughto ride about mid-October. I know we haven't hit 120 YET this year but does 108-110 really qualify as cooler than normal??? Just wonderin'.
  17. Looks like a good weight loss program but WTF, do you not notice when the rats are chewing on your face???
  18. Ask a true American how they feel aboput us white guys. All of us crackerazzmofo's started out here "illegally". Just somehow looked at this great land we call America and made it ours. Amazing how that works! I see your point and Pete's counterpoint. We are bound by accepted norms and have forgetten the Indians over time but the mass influx of Illegals has to be brought under control no matter how any of us of any color feels about it. "Russians and junk"! Now that's funny right there. We're all just fuggin' racists and too stupid to realize it, or too proud to admit it.
  19. You must have to be dickless to feel the need to paint all over other peoples stuff. I just don't get it. Hopefully karma is real nasty to this scums mother for raising such an assbag. Prime candidate for cell block 6 in the near future I would think. Gotta be someway that the government could step in and ensure that people like this aren't allowed to reproduce.
  20. Looks like overcast conditions so you guys might get in a little more riding than anticipated. Be safe out there and we'll be sitting here patiently awaiting all of the pictures. Bert, what parts does the DS need?
