  1. Why ya'll be hatin' and shiatt yo!?! :B I mean where else can you go and see a bunch of carnies :flatbiller: without having to pay admission? I must say though that I did stop by the Barstow, CA Wal-Mart one time and it was the only time I have ever felt the need to rush home and immediately shower after having visited a retail store.
  2. 1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day. 2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute! 3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year. 4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined. 5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private Employer, and most speak English. 6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the World. 7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only 15 years. 8. During this same period, 31 supermarket chains sought bankruptcy. 9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world. 10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 Years ago. 11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.) 12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart. You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to Fix the economy. This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!! To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons: The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is BROKE. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is BROKE. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is BROKE. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; 1$ trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are BROKE. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is BROKE. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal FAILURE. You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars. AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM?? Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected' and their staff (they never read anything) will clue them in on how Americans feel.
  3. Any trip reports or pics? Thread has been dead for a couple of days, hopefully a few folks showed up and had a safe and fun time. Let's hear how it went.
  4. Fly by wire limits the Commander to "just" 70mph. Won't be long before CDI's hit the street removing this little limiting factor. And there is already a kit to make this motor an 1137cc behemoth. It's not going to be for everyone because you can't please them all but if you watch ebay there's already been a few more RZR's show up and the prices are already dropping. The Commander will rule the dunes until Polaris drops a 1200cc motor into the RZR.
  5. Damn Bert, tell us how you really feel! I can't say that I disagree with you though. I only went to Dumont five times last year and none of the trips were on holidays. To me Dumont doesn't offer what I'm really looking for in a weekend of duning but I have lots of friends that go there because they don't live in between Glamis and Dumoont like I do so I go to hang and chill with them. For $80 I didn't mind so much but if I'm forced to pay $100+ then I'll just add those five trips to my 10-12 trips to Glamis each season and call it good. I say they just post a Dr. at vendor row, let us donate a left nutt and get a lifetime pass in return.
  6. If you're ever in DC on Memorial Day be sure to take in Rolling Thunder. While stationed at Quantico, VA we would go to DC for the ceremonies, and to see 200,000 Harleys with Vets of all ages riding to the wall was just utterly amazing. From what I understand the numbers now far exceed 350,000. You can stay in one spot and they just go by for hours, and you'll never see the same one twice. It's truely spellbinding. :ahhhhh:
  7. Damn nice steeds there. Those sissies should have been jousting upon such nice rides.
  8. I'm really surprised that he passed away in Utah. I thought there were only tweleve of them in Utah, and that they all played for the Jazz. He was no baller as far as I knew. Life wasn't kind to him, even though he made millions more than I'll ever even dream about, but he did entertain us back in the day. Rest in peace little fella. How 'bout that Dana Plato? Damn, did that cast have it's issues or what???
  9. That's why I say hey man nice shot, what a good shot man! :laughoff: Used to rock that as my theme song back when I was on the Marine Corps Rifle Team. Should be a good show, especially for the price.
  10. Well I'll chime in here and show my age a little I guess. Wedenesday I went to see Kansas/Styx/Foreigner and last night checked out my second favorite band of all time, Queensryche, in a cabaret style setting. Pretty happening show. Next Friday checking out Crosby, Stills, and Nash, then on Saturday taking my daughter to see Heart. That's just the begininning or what's turning out to be a very active concert season after a couple of slow ones lately. Ted Nugent is right around the corner as is Mayhem Fest with Korn/Rob Zombie, then Iron Maiden, Ozzfest, and a buttload more of good shows coming to SoCal. Up the Irons \m/
  11. "They say that life's a carousel, Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well The world is full of Kings and Queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams It's Heaven and Hell!!" We lost a true Metal God this morning with the untimely passing of Ronnie James Dio. Long tough battle with stomach cancer finally wore him down. Crank this sh*t and raise a toast to a true legend. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZktrrqT1A0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZktrrqT1A0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> We'll know for the first time if we're evil or divine we're the last in line...
  12. That is looking sweet Woody. Those retirement checks come in handy don't they??? And you live in an area where as you're Xeriscaping that back yard you can add boulders for next to nothing. Well, a little backache from time to time, but atleast you don't have to pay $200 a ton per boulder. Keep those pics coming, it's looking awesome.
  13. Maybe I'm just an internet retard but all I get when I click on the link is a facebook sign up page. Guess I'm missing out on some fun...
  14. Isn't that the angle that you start a family from???
  15. Oh so true, we've become a nation of sheep. Don't let the Apple Valley numbers get you down though, conservative estimates from the Tax Day rallies around the country were 650,000. Not too bad for a middle of the workweek turnout. The rally in Searchlight, NV over the weekend has numbers between 8-20,000. My wife having been to many many concerts said probably 10K. And she attended the tax day rally in Palm Springs and those numbers were around 2500. The longer Osama is in office the stonger the movement will get. People just need to pay attention to their surroundings. Teachers and law enforcement being layed off by the thousands, Americans losing their jobs daily, crime on the upswing everywhere, but some amoungst us think big a$$ guns are stupid sh*t. Oh well, Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Guess we don't all have the same definitions for those three words. And good ol' Mr Osama definitely doesn't undestand the "unalienable rights" definition of the Declaration of Independence. While our panties are all in a bunch the same gutter trolls that elected him in the first place will crawl back out of the sewer and from under their rocks and ensure that he gets a second term.
  16. This is totally crazy and it should make you want to slap the hell out of the idiots we have in Washington DC . Georgia Arms is the 5th largest retailer of .223 Ammo in America . They sell 9mm, .45, .223 ammunition. They normally buy spent brass from the US Department of Defense. Spent brass is "one time used" shell cases used by our Military for training purposes. They buy the brass, recondition it, and then reload the brass for resale to Law Enforcement, Gun Clubs, Gun Shops, and stores like Wal-Mart. They normally buy 30,000 lbs of spent brass at a time. This week the DoD wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms and informed him that from now on the DoD will be destroying the spent brass, shredding it. It will no longer be available to the ammo makers, unless they buy it in a scrap shredded condition (which they have no use for). The shredded brass is now going to be sold by the DoD to China as scrap metal, after the DoD pays for it to be shredded. The DoD is selling the brass to China for less money than the ammo makers have been paying, plus the DoD has to pay to have the brass shredded and do the accounting paperwork. This sure helps the economy now doesn't it? Sell cheaper to China , and do not sell at all to a proven US business. Any hidden agenda working here? Obama going after the Firearms Industry and our ammunition!! The Georgia Arms owner even related a story that one of his competitors had already purchased a load of brass last week. The DoD contacted him this week and said they were sending someone over to make sure it was destroyed. Shell cases he had already bought! The brass has no value to the ammo maker if it is destroyed/shredded/melted. The ammo manufacturer only uses the empty brass cases to reload different calibers, mainly .223 bullets. The owner of Georgia Arms says that he will have to lay off at least half of his 60 workers, within 2-3 months if the DoD will no longer sell spent brass cases to the industry. Georgia Arms has 2-3 months of inventory to use, by summer they're out. If the Reloading Industry has to purchase new manufacture brass cases, then the cost of ammunition will double or even triple, plus Obama wants to add a 500% tax on each shell. You can read the information and see the DoD letter to Georgia Arms here: The Shootist Site http://www.theshootist.net/2009/03/dod-end...d-military.html If you're not outraged at what this administration is doing you should be! 17. I don't think anyone here would seriously recommend an AK-47 or an AR-15 for self preservation within the home, however the handgun choices are seemingly endless, and do not take Military training to teach a wife/girlfriend/child to properly use them in the absence of the man of the house. A well placed Federal HydraShok is going to hit nothing but said a$$hat, no walls, no innocent bystanders, no family pets, just the dirtbag. And they come in many calibers that any female/child would be able to handle. I'll post this for the education of all and leave my argument there. Some folks believe Obama will save us all, others are preparing for the zombies. I fall somewhere in the middle myself. A MUST read for those inclined to make the bad guys wake up dead.
  18. WOW! Seriously!?! Stupid sh*t? Have a nice day being raped and robbed while waiting for the law to come to your aid. What's the average response time around the nation? Probably a whole lot longer than brandishing your family protection and scaring said a$$hat away. But whatever bro, you protect your family how you see fit and I'll do likewise. Defensive weapons training and lots of practice have kept many women, and men, alive to see another day. Crime is going up as the economy and jobs keep heading down and I've yet to see a mass hiring at any police departments to keep up with the pace of crime rising. "BIG AZZ GUNS", nor the little ones, are stupid sh*t, unless of course you lived in a country where you were allowed to own them for self protection and didn't and someone near and dear to you was harmed because of this frame of mind. Semper Fi
  19. Going to work more and save up some leave time so I can hit St. Anthony's Idaho for a week either side of Labor Day. Then get ready to do the Glamis/Dumont shuffle all over again...
  20. Night Drags info How many night drags are there? :rainbow1:
  21. Try Metalalien, that cat is phenominal with his editing skills. I'm sure he can master a GoPro with no issues at all.
  22. Atleast two more trips to Glamis, more dependant upon the weather. Probably one more to Dumont if some hella winds come in and smooth things back out. Thought about this weekend but we're going to the Nuclear Cowboyz show instead. And chilling during some Final Four action. Then some Ocotillo night riding. Labor Day at St. Anthony Idaho will be here before we know it.
  23. That was my son's bike Pete. Mine is the big black one that was only in camp to top off! The red one was incase anyone in camp needed a ride since my son couldn't make it. Sorry I missed you guys...
