GREAT shots, Neal! You're getting really good with your new techniques. Unbelievable morons with NO helmets! why why why would you ever take the chance? I guess they have nothing to protect.

Happy birthday, bud. Damn, you still haven't even hit 30 yet? wtf, child? Kick your feet up and relax today. I'll see ya tonight for some grub and refreshments.

From what I understand from reading RDC, there was supposed to be a memorial for the MDR200 placed at Slash X. During the setup of the memorial, Brian Lynn and his wife, Gail, were involved in a head on collision on the highway. They were both air lifted to UMC where Brian passed away and Gail is still in serious condition. This is so sad. In a time that was supposed to be for remembering those who passed away in that horrible tragedy and now this. Thoughts and prayers to the Lynn family and friends. http://www.race-deze...lashX-family***

From my experience it's open to everyone and everything. Nobody owns the hill- it's run what you brung and everything from stockers to built Banshees show up, race and have a good time. But then again, if only hill shooters show then it will probably be only them hitting the hill. Hard to say from the feedback what kind of crowd will be there this time around.

I'm still up in the air, but I think I am gonna skip this one. Sand_700R is out, Chad is out, I just haven't had the time to get the generator and hauler ready, and I have to work Saturday until 2PM. It's not looking good. If more people were going I'd make it happen, but it sounds like more work than good times. So I'll probably just do another dual sport ride on Sunday instead. Not a bad thing and much cheaper.

congrats. Now post some pics of the new ride!

Congratulations Dan and Katie! Now I know what you two have been up to.

Well here's my status for this weekend: I don't know! I still need to get over and see if I can get my genny fired up and cleaned out. Then I need to fix the pipe on the Rappy. So I guess I should get off my a$$ and get going. What is everyone else's status? Is everyone going out Sat night or is anyone doing am early run on Sunday only?

whats is the best paddle and rim for a yz 125?
dunefreak replied to Tmoney's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
I've never ran a 125 in the dunes, but my YZ250 worked perfect with an 8 cup Kings Turbo Paddle. They hold up great and work the best from my experience on 2 wheelers. They have durable scoops/ cups and they also have these extra little fins or lines in the tire to help the rear end from swapping. So I'm guessing a 6 cup would be best for a 125. Here is a link for one. I've used this online store a couple times and they have the best prices and pretty quick shipping. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/29/388/5067/ITEM/Kings-KT-977-Turbo-Paddle-Rear-Tire.aspx?SiteID=CSE_Gbase_5067&WT.mc_ID=80003&zmam=88421133&zmas=1&zmac=45&zmap=5067 -
Even the .190 (stronger) wheels aren't very heavy by any means. Don't go with the light duty ones. There are still rocks at Dumont that will very easily bend the blue label wheels (.125). Remember the lighter the weight, the less strong that will be (most of the time). Bend rim = no air in the tire. Now that I think about it I may have the.160 black labels which are strong yet lightweight. Here's the description for the Douglas .160 black labels This unique wheel is extremely strong yet very lightweight giving you maximum strength and minimum rolling mass. Great for those who ride sand dunes and need a little more strength for light jumping. The black label wheel design utilizes the highest quality .160 thick, 6061 heat treated aircraft grade aluminum. If you go on Rocky Mountain's ite they have a ton of wheels, some black too.

+2 on the Douglas .190's

I didn't even notice.

Skat trak Extreme Haulers all the way. I have had mine on my Raptor for about 8 or 9 years now. They are still in great shape and I don't even think I have ever had one go flat on me now that I think about it. I've got my money's worth ten times over with those paddles! You won't be disappointed. ITP's are heavy and they're junk. Ditch em.

It did?

It got fixed right back up the next day. Bert just wanted to b*tch. It helps us feel better when it's hot.

Sounds like some good ole folk fun right there. Now if you can just learn how to take and post some pics from these long dune trips you'll all be taking you can rub it in some more. hahaa Congrats to Rocket's wife!

haha I know that threw me off too. I fixed it though.
