First off they don't take in a million dollars a year. And second, I don't think Dumont needs ANY improvements. I like it just the way it is. BUT, if there is grant money that is going to be allocated no matter what, then I think Dumont is higher on the prioirty list than other places. I don't see why you haven't understood my point of this thread yet. I was trying to make it clear that the money would be better spent on recsue vehicles or for expenses that Dumont already has.

Thats good to hear, Becky. I figured something would have been on DD.com if it was one of his buddies, but never I saw anything. Good to hear they are ok. Let us know how he is if you hear anything else.

I heard there was a burn incident at Dumont last weekend. A buggy with a front engine had the radiator hose spray on the driver, and a little on the passenger. They evacuated the driver with 36% of his body in second degree burns. The driver's first name is Jim. Does anyone know him or how he is doing? I hope he and the passenger are ok. :boyyy:

cool Call me when ya get there. Glitter guldge? Last time I went there (and the only time) it was a 3 drink minimum per person and you had to buy them all at the same time. For two of us it was 36 dollars for 6 beers all at once. I told the guy call you hang on to those so they don't get warm, wtf? He said no you have to have them all at the same time. Needless to say...we left. :boyyy:

I have never done a full weekend that late in the season, but I have been out during the hot months. Be sure to have plenty of water and gas for your generator for AC. Don't ever ride alone either. You sure that race isn't on that Sunday too? If so, good luck getting around those racers. They don't like to move at all and they make you and your rig drive go around them so you have to drive in the oncoming traffic lane. (I think they like black diesel smoke though lol) Be sure to give yourself plenty of time leaving.

I hate to break the news to ya Andy, but I don't think you are ever getting that fuel back...even if someone found it. :chkn:

I think I might try to go out Saturday morning to check it out and play it by ear all day. I'm gonna make a Thirsty Thursday outta the tech and street party on Fremont.

haha, I even posted "RENEWED" in caps last year. I wouldn't call $140 almost 200, but still good to see it go down. I didn't even notice.
