Yes they did already lay down a layer of recycled asphalt. It wasn't enough to oil and roll it though. They didn't have the time or funding at the time either to complete the project. The BLM might be getting another batch from the I-40 project and they plan to roll it, and put a chemical on it when they get it. ....mayyybe, we'll have to wait and see if they can get their hands on it 1st.

I was going to day trip it on Saturday, but it looks like I'm not going to make it after all. I need to take a break and get some things done. I think I am on #10 or 11 dune trip so far this season and still have one or two left to go.

Nah I've always taken at least a few pages of pics on most big weekends. Cleanup was easy to take that many though with everything that was going on. The new camera rocks though.

Yep, ^ what he said. The BLM will give you all the info/ requirements necessary to become a vendor. You need to fill out and vendor's application as well.

Sit in the AC? WTF u talking about? I mean load the bike in the back of the truck, get there at 5:30, ride for about 4 hours, then leave when it gets hot. It's what most the die hard mofos in our group do. (that wasn't meant as an insult so don't take it that way) Capt you are have right about most of what you posted. I agree completely about some of the things you said. However, you are making it out to be like it was a race though. We went on a "nothing to prove" ride and I think Sand Saw just isn't used to the style of riding we do. Let's not get him worked up more than he already is. I already see personal attacks form both sides and that will get this thread closed and/or people suspended. Not cool, people.
