ok you pecker neck , but yes it does matter. I am being realistic. The speakers I have are currently set up as a 5 channel surround (with a center channel). It makes a huge difference when watching a movie for sure. The speakers aren't that great that I have in there right now, but that doesn't matter. Surround is surround no matter what. diversify one of these years??? I do LOTS of other things other than the dunes thougout the year. I think I am into more things than I can afford. Yes the dunes are always there, but Presidents Day weekend only comes once a year as well. I'm not missing it. Sorry it's just what I love to do. :smoker:

I think the main goal of having everyone buy the pass off-site is too help alleviate congestion and lines entering Dumont on the busy weekends. There are other reasons, but I think that is the biggest reason behind it.

I wish it was a different weekend. Short course is always fun. I'll be out at D though.

The biggest reason why we'd like to keep the south pole a place that isn't on the map is pretty much like Gerald said. It's to keep it somewhat of an adventure to find it. If you can't find it, then I guess you aren't really much of a duner then!

OK so I picked up the Canon SD1000 tonight. I got it for 179.99 and added a Ultra II 2 GB memory card, a 2 year accidental insurance plan, and an accessory kit wihich has an extra battery and a nice leather case. All that for a smidge over 3 bills. Not bad. I can't wait to take some good pics of the drags this weekend at Dumont. yiah yiah
