What did some say ether? Well "the prez" doesn't really give a sh*t when we have it nor does he hold any responsibilty for when other things happen, where we camp, etc etc. I'm over it. Someone else make some decisions for once! There, I'm done. I was only given the name as a joke since I started the place. Don't give me any more jobs....DDR is already a second full-time job as it is.

1st off, welcome to the site. We aren't about much more than a website for ALL of Dumont peeps. Sometimes we get as many peeps together from the board to meet up for dune rides, trips, sometimes potluck BBQ's, and SOMETIMES some of this .

While all these responses are funny as hell, I don't think I am gonna pursue this any. Think about it... you get a big name magazine out there. A bunch of these foo foo peeps that don't know chit about the dunes start going out there. Does Dumont really need any more publicity? Do we want more people that don't already know anything about Dumont to KNOW about Dumont? It's getting crowded enough out there. All we need is a bunch of rich metrosexual poopdiks cruising around in sandrails and saying "sssssssuper....look at all the ssssssssand!!!! " I don't know ONE duner that reads that magazine. At first this sounded pretty cool, but the more I think of it it doesn't sound like something I am interested in. Besides, DDR doesn't need any publicity or money to be the best damn Dumont site...it already is! I know they might do it regardess if DDR helps them or not, but I don't think we should condone it.

I wouldn't do it. I would like to know my truck could tow whatever is behind it more than "ok". Think of situations like a big a$$ semi passing you at a high rate of speed, hitting a big dip that you didn't see, or a towing a 26ft toyhauler on a real windy day with that thing..... . If anything I'd stay under 21 feet...IF that big at all.

Got a logo? Is FoDD gonna help out with this? The banner was only gonna plug DDR since we were the ones doing it, but I could put FoDD on there too if I get some sort of logo.

I was planning on "relaxed play it as it comes weekend". B) I am only coming out for a day (mayyyybe Friday night too), but I was gonna pull up with ynot over in BFE by bathroom 9....that's if it's ok with HIM.

A little while ago Esquire magazine e-mailed me about possibly doing a photoshoot with DDR. At first I thought "way cool." We can get some professional photographers to take some badass pics of us duning, right? But then I got thinking.... WTF is Esquire magazine? It's a men's magazine. Is it like a men's FASHION magazine? I started to question it and almost thought it was a joke. 1st e-mail.. The guy e-mailed me again the other day and wrote this... I just wanted to know what everyone else thought about this before I contacted him. I don't want to say yeah we'll do this and then we end up in the dunes or at comp hill modeling underwear! helll no!

Looks like ISBB and I are in for Saturday for the day! It is a possibility we may come out Friday, but we're not sure as of yet. I'm back on 4 wheels again! My car is back up and fixed! No more of this.... Hey ynot, looks like we are gonna get some duning in before your surgery after all!
