  2. Yeah, I've been in there a few times and he seems like a stand up guy that knows his stuff! Last time i was there was mostly dirtbike stuff, but from the sounds of it he was looking to expand

  9. yep.....I've only pulled one air-cooled Vdub motor but its very easy. Could probably do it again by myself in less than 20min. Dont forget to disconnect the throttle cable too, dont want to stretch that out. and the oil pressure line if you have a gauge up front

Had an Awesome time this weekend! :kissass: despite a few mishaps like my quad quiting at the beginning of the second run of the weekend, Someone in camp calling there mommy on us, and camping way out in BFE..... Had a great time around the fire on Sat. night and drank way too many beers! I got to get the quad fixed fast for the upcoming trips

  18. I'm with Freak on Greenleaf.....we get a lot of our used heavy line parts from them and they're fairly cheap and in decent shape

  20. yeah, back in the "old days" (or old cars, since the old days are too old for me ) you could repair that real easy in your garage..... but then again those old cars didnt have miles of wiring and 30+ computers in them Just be glad you dont have a volkswagen, their harnesses are hand made and only come in complete sections. I.E. if it was in your engine compartment - whole engine harness Somewhere inside the car that couldnt be repaired - whole body harness, from the dash to the tail lights. I replaced both on one car, took over two months just to get the new harness' which cost over 4k and then had to pull EVERYTHING out of the car to replace the body harness .
