  1. these are some of my good ones. i like the last 2 and the first the best.
  2. actually... http://www.hulu.com/watch/42728/the-great-...n-little-sahara there it is :freakin_nuts:
  3. for some video of it i just saw today a new great ride open episode filmed at little sahara on fuel. not sure when its airing again or if you can find it online somewhere, but it was pretty neat and the place looks really fun. but it was snowing when they were there :freakin_nuts:
  4. yea definitely. the trick is to have a few things lined up. so he would be going to bid on maybe 5-6 items for 5-6 people, making the profits go up. but no doubt, not a stress free way to make a buck :freakin_nuts:
  5. typically how it works is the seller/ dealer license holder charges a percentage or a flat rate. basically ogp is running a dealership in a sense and making profits off of it. so its not all hand out's from him. it just happens to work for both parties because the buyer gets a really good deal and the license holder makes a fairly decent sized profit. thats just my .02 and understanding of when i did it before. dont beat me up. haha :freakin_nuts:
  6. perfect. only 2 more questions. 1. do we pick the item up from you or at some storage location or from the actual auction place? 2. is there a decent variety of ski boats? (mastercrafts, supra's, tiges, ect) and any idea on what a nice newer ski boat is aprox going for?
  7. thats where ill be!!! a solid 6 days of :freakin_nuts: :mog: out on the river! and unlv's spring break isnt untill april 4-11 ? oh well
  8. im super interested in a boat. and i have a pretty good idea as to how this system works. but a few questions... 1. the cash is up front correct? 2. what is your fee? 3. where is the auction held at? 4. how long after the auction do you have to pick up your item? and this is super generous ogp. definitely a way for peeps to get some great deals.
  9. :ah: thats crazy cheap. im gunna hit up the credit union tomorrow. and i guess this is the only good thing about the current economy. somebody elses loss could be my gain. haha i bet the custom bank of america sticker will get me a better interest rate too!
  10. any idea on what that first boat went for?
  11. does anybody know where that's at in dumont? like, what section of the dunes?
  12. hahaha this idea is excellent!!! like others said, keeping the beer cold and your hands without getting super cold would be an interesting challenge. maybe 24oz tall cans instead? and this reminds me of wizards stick, which you tape your empty beer cans in a stack on the bottom of the current one your drinking in sequence. then when you finish your current beer, you tape a full one on top and keep going. so you might have a full beer on top and 4,5,6,7,8,9... and so on empty ones taped on bottom. first person to reach a designated height wins. its pretty funny when you need help to tip your stack over because its gotten too tall. ive never actually participated in the game, but i showed up to a game half way done already and helped tip the stack.
  13. hmmm i didnt see it? :hungry: at least not at night the only one i saw was dunefreak rolling up on saturday night at like 1am doing wheelies or something? lmao ps: good meeting you mike. your car/the green neons were badass. what was up with leaving the hood up on your truck all weekend?
  14. Pres day was one of my best trips so far. camped with some great peeps and met a bunch too. going up the 160 at about 7:30 friday night was insane. i guess they closed it just after we made it through. but holy :poop: . there were little cars stuck everywhere. i had to drive on the wrong side of the road for at least 3 miles at one point to make it past everybody that was all cockeyed in the road. insane. Then on the way down i saw a few big 5th wheels lock up their trailer brakes and tokyo drift all over the place. that was pretty nerve racking :ah: the dunes were good, lots of lines to chose from. Went on a few night rides, had a blast and didnt get hurt at all crazy bumpin strobe light beerpong table made for some interesting games. ...so did beerpong in 400mph winds. i found out what a pazzaz or however you spell it is after a 2 hour discussion with sand chick. :hungry: that was pretty tasty though opening trailers a little too late at night made for some crazy shovel dodging :ah: big gigantic logs in the middle of camp are dangerous horseshoes are really hard to play with boots on having your paddles on backwards causes for some problems on comp the meet and greet looked pretty busy. it was the first one i went to and was pretty cool didnt hit smokin al's but beefyboys was pretty good. the 6lb burrito was GIGANTIC :ah: i dont even think it was humanly possible to eat the whole thing. by 40 mins, the guy who had went the farthest was only about 3/4th the way. vendor row was pretty busy. i had to get out of there before i went broke! nobody in our camp had a 70.. thank god. haha and lastly, a hot pink rhino is in my future for sure. :blonde:
  15. he definitely wont be out in a day. identity theft and theft over 400$ are both felonies and unless he has 5000$ or so, chances are he wont be able to bail out. hes looking at some jail time for sure. plus, the way the law works in nevada, if the DA decides to press charges on somebody, they go all out and will tack on every charge they can to get the point across and make it harder to get away from. he could get a burglary too for being inside somewhere when the crime was committed. calling the police is a very good idea. just because he didnt get away with any money, doesnt mean he wasnt in the wrong, and shouldnt be prosecuted.
  16. i used to do alot of action sports photography. nothing professional or anything, but i spent alot of time and effort on it. ill start posting up some more pictures in the pic of the month contests. but the expense of the 50d is very high. if that is well within your price range and you plan on taking some very over the top pictures then it might be a good buy. but i bought my sony dslr when they first came out about 2 years ago for around 800$ and it works great. it has all the settings i could need for taking pictures of pretty decent quality. im sure there are much better camera's but ive done shooting with bmx magazine photographers and they were really impressed with the performance of my camera. the majority of them are, or were at the time shooting with the canon 50d and nikon d80's i believe. they say good things about both models but it comes down to price imo. 1500ish dollars for a magazine quality camera seems like a little overkill and a waste to me.
  17. ok i think i have an idea on where to look. thanks buddy!!
  18. i have a print out a wiring diagram that tells me that too. i dont understand what 'pin (insert number here)' means though. like... where do i find the location of any of the pins?? ps: ive found the pcm already. thanks for the response
  19. i have a clarion max685bt indash with the matching nax980hd navi system. i have everything else hooked up perfectly, im just wondering if any of you know where EXACTLY the vss is located? i know it is gray with a black stripe, i just am not able to locate it. any specific instructions on where to look would be greatly appreciated. even if your not 100% sure, any help at all is better than no help. thanks in advance!
  20. this has got to be one of the coolest pictures ive ever seen
  21. i was camped with this idiot too. all i can say is a body lifted ranger on 20's is not a trophy truck. i did ride in it one time tho and felt like a gangsta! but he did get a ride to vegas and get the parts and fix it at the dunes so he could drive it home. that was pretty impressive.
