  1. Going to day trip and check this out and get some duning in.
  2. Anybody find or see a hood from an XP 900 on the Tecopa route home in Sunday ? I was sick and didn't realise it was gone when I took it off the back of the truck.
  3. Went out today. Rained most of the way out but stopped once we got settled in. Pulled up by GTP Mike. Pete came up, welcomed us and we chatted for a while. Put the paddles on the car and went for a spin. About 15 minutes in to the run I smoked another 2 coils and was done. My son in law went for some rides in his RZR then we loaded up. Didn't talk to many people but a lot of the usual suspects were out again. Wish I could have went on some runs with everyone but the seriously not so Fun-co still needs some love ! Looked like a great camp !
  4. Gen 2 Big 5 i picked up over the summer with no motor and a bad transmission.
  5. We are out for camping that weekend. We had a passing of a beloved family member and Tracy is out of town. I'm going to day trip Saturday to shake down the So Far Not So FUN-CO new to me rail. Worst case I will day trip with the RZR. Last year was awesome and it appears El Presidente has elevated the trip and made it better than the last one. Sorry to miss the weekend with such good peeps. I hope to catch a group run if the rail behaves proper !
  6. I bought some tonight and will use it like Neal does. I don't have a baseline to judge from so I won't be able to report how well it works as T day weekend will be the maiden voyage.
  7. Thank you guys for the replies ! I'm leaning towards giving a go.
  8. Does anyone run water wetter and distilled water only in their toys ? I'm on the fence about doing this with my rail.
  9. Is this the slime that's supposed to be used on aluminum rims ?
  10. If I would have known Mike was going to get a rail I would have waited for him to dial it in then bought it from him instead of starting my project lol ! Someone will be getting a good rail soon.
  11. Brice and Mary are in, Pete's bringing moonshine, who's got the elf and sausage ?
  12. Unless you are changing the shims to tune them the rebuilding is easy. I did my Fox 2.0 non-resi rebuilds in about and hour for all 4. Cost me $60 bucks for a gallon of shock oil and the seal kits. Got them charged and they are holding 200 psi with no problems.
  13. I think I got it. You will be there but I'm a little slow. Oh well ! It's how I roll !
  14. I will have the Funco out there. The swap from an aircooled to a subie was not as simple as I was led to believe lol but I'm on track. Thanks for the hookup GTP always has for parts. Why aren't you going to be there ? I was looking forward to seeing your RZR out there.
  15. Don't want to kill this thread lol but we plan on being there. Last year was a good time !
  16. Chaparral website says 15-25 ft. lbs.
  17. Know what's on the other side. Don't go straight up and over.
  18. 30th thru the second for us. Can't freaking wait !
  19. Is anyone out there running a Subaru motor that would be willing to let me come look at how they are set up ? I can bring you some beer or something for a little of your time. I'm getting ready to plumb my engine and wire in the ecu and think seeing one all set up would be helpful.
  20. Went to the show today. Nothing to write home about. Nothing huge in the SxS arena or sand car realm either. Companies are just putting out full blown machines with a message that we can do this for you with a huge budget. Nothing to inspire your average guy to pick up a wrench or any products to buy. Last year people had things to sell. This year it's all slick brochures for you to order from. I can do that from home already. Oh well.
  21. I'm heading to the show early Sat morning, hitting all the vendors and rolling back after I'm done. I have room for a passenger or two if anyone wants to make the turnaround run. Not looking for any split of costs or anything. Just throwing it out in case someone wants to go. PM me here. I will check until 7 pm tomorrow night
  22. I may be able to make it for a shake down run in early October. The car should be ready by then.
  23. Thank you Jack, Mike and Pete. I'm looking forward to this trip big time since I didn't do any summer trips so I can get the new to me rail out this season. This trip will also be the first with another new to me, 3500 GMC Sierra Dually flatbed. It's my first diesel truck and in the week I've owned it I have enjoyed the hell out of it ! I will put some pics up when I get back.
