Going to head up to Little Sahara Utah for Labor Day weekend. Any advice on where to camp, what the holiday weekend is like etc...? I have read the posts here but I am looking for some up to date info. Thank you .

Labor Day Weekend in Little Sahara then a couple of day trips in early October to shake down the new to me rail. Halloween weekend will probably be the first camping trip to the D.

I had seen Bert in the dunes a lot over the years. Followed his car build and liked reading his posts. Got to finally meet him at the buggy run this year. Very nice man who loved to talk duning. Such a sad day. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better but from the posts here all who didn't know him can see what those who did thought of him. Rest in peace sir.

I picked this up for $5500 minus motor. I have plans for a radius roof, highback seats etc. after I get the engine built.

Any chance of a bunch of people from DDR getting together and doing something ? I will buy $100 worth of food and bring out a grill and some trash bags for a clean up effort. We can also fill the bed of my truck with as many bags as it will hold and I will dispose of it. Season pass holders could couple with people to carpool out for the day. Just a thought.

Was ynot out there chilling by bathroom 10 with his enclosed and a black and red dodge ? I thought I saw him a few times in the dunes running solo.

I'm probably in the minority but I feel we reap what we sow. Unfortunately the people who leave the bottles and trash everywhere, party then ride etc. are the ones bringing us increased scrutiny and it sucks they are lumped in with the law abiding person who just wants to enjoy some outdoor recreation. I won't discount over zealous LEO's but people steal firewood from camps along with peoples toys and the like. I don't have a problem with being checked for registration or anything. I feel things have gone on unchecked for to long and the BLM enforcement will bring about needed changes, weeding out the bad elements in the dunes. I do agree they need to clamp down on the camp racers though. If they concentrated their efforts on ticketing those fools they would be flush with cash. It must be too hard to prove so that's why they don't bother.

They had an airplane in their camp this morning. Does anyone know what they are filming ?
