Id love to get together with some DDR peeps I havent seen in a while. Havent seen alot since this last season at the dunes sucked for me. Miss some familiar faces for sure!

I thought the turn out was very good considering alot cancelled because of the weather. Ill have to let Terry post the final figure of how many signed up. It was a bit windy at times, but the weather held out till the end when we were cleaning everything up.I was glad to get back out there this year working registration. I have some pics ill post a little later. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped out our dunes!

RIP! We saw flight for life a few times this weekend. I believe it was last night around 10 than something else happened and the bird came flying in. Anyone know? There were alot of cop lights flashing around the area of the opening to comp it looked it.

It was a good weekend. It started off ROUGH. No lights on the hauler, water leaking and fuel leaking. Figured out the lights, drained the water in dunesmurfs work parking lot. One of her guys managed to jerry rig it for the weekend so we had water. The crowd wasnt as big as I expected being the 40th anniversary of the drags. I didnt have my bike this trip, so I was a dumont dunes camper. lol The weather was pretty good. Wind picked up a few times and got crappy. I took the burb out to the meet n greet, got the burb stuck (on the flats no less) for the first time. Aired down and managed to get out. Wasnt alot of meeting or greeting that I saw. Everyone pretty much stayed in their own little areas. Didnt really see any familiar faces other than those I went out there with. Drags didnt see to get as many spectators this year. We went for a little while, but it was kind of boring. Saw flight for life 3 times over the weekend, not sure of the stories on any of them. Thoughts and prayers go out to those involved. All and all it was a great 1st trip of the season (which is over now) for me. I took a few pics ill post up.. Hmmmmm I attempted to post quite a few pics and they didnt upload???

Mine is doing the same thing. Ill have to see if I can get someone to check "Usually the mixture control solenoid sticks and causes that. I've had that issue before. It screws in to the bottom of the float bowl and has 2 wires going to it. " I tried running the micro just to put a load on it and still does the same thing.

So glad this story had a happy ending!!

Thats heartbreaking. I hope you find him. We had a guy from our camp loose his dog last halloween. He went home and came back. I want to say he found her a couple days later. Dont give up...
