I posted about this in the shoutbox not to long after it happened, just didnt start a thread. It was pretty crazy downtown in the beginning cause there was talk of multiple shooters. Im 2 blocks from there and they immediately thru us into lockdown. Think its the first time in history they actually closed the marriage bureau. Pretty surreal to see the marshals walking around inside and out with automatic weapons strapped to their bodies. Was pretty nerve wracking that day. We had a bomb threat called into our courts the next day as well. 2010 not off to a good start with all the crazy sh*t going on. It can only get better!!

So glad to hear the recovery is going well. I got update from Whit that they planned on getting him up and walking. Positive attitude will definately go a long way with the recovery. So hang tough Chris and before you know it, you will be back at Dumont!! Slow and steady! Not sure how long you will be in town, but if theres anything I can do while your here, please dont hesitate to ask!! While I dont think we have officially met, seen ya around the dunes with Randy, and duners stick together, especially in times of need!

That looks like an aweful lot of damage for only going 5-7 mph. I would think both parties would wanna stick around to make sure everyone makes it safely outta the dunes. Just my

Glad to hear things sound like they are turning around David. Sounds likes it been pretty touch and go. Life really is short, just never know when something will happen. Im sure his family and friends are breathing a sigh of relief now that drs are giving better news.
