Well the way I see it is the cheapst HID light i have found is about 100bucks. I just got a 20% coupon from harbor freight, so i am planning on buying 6 of their 50W H3 halong lamps and putting HID kits in them. Each kit is roughy 50 bucks from a local supplier here in So Cal. So do the math. 6 HID 6 inch lights at $100 each = $600 plus tax 6 H3 6 inch lights at $15 each = $90 + 3 HID H3 Kits for $50 each = $210!!!!!!! thats a $390 savings.

Well, i was planning on taking some old 50 watt H3 bulb lights I have for off road use and try and mount some of the slim ballast HID kits they sell for vehicles and see if it works. Any one every tried or done this >?

Ill give my buddy a call see if he wants to go out that evening, he has a mobile dyno and can tune bikes all night long if needed, also does repairs.

This is what im dealing with ... Im concerned that the soot in the pipes will contaminate the weld, will that cause an issue ? Also, any one know of a good vw type 3 exhaust ? most of the exhaust ive seen are for type 1 VW's and the headers would pre heat the air going into the cooling fan of the engine since its in the front. Any you know of any one in the Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley that weld ???? I have a VW muffler that has cracked and needs re welding. Will pay with money or beer.

Go to your local department of motor vehicles and apply for a duplicate title. Unless Nevada does not require titles for quads, then a bill of sale and certificate of origin should be ok.

Get your self a set of extractors, you should be ok. Just make sure you soak the screws with penetrating lube.

California will require the title of the bike or a certificate of origin. A bill of sale will also be required. Once the quad is brought to cali, the DMV will do a VIN verification. Once thats done, the quad should be issued a CA title and registration.

Shut off the gass to your gas line if its natural gas heater, there should be a valve shut off water at top of water heater, there should be a valve there to get an old water hose and empty the water heater from the valve towards the bottom. disconnect both top hoses, I usually just replace them, but you can just put them back on if the black O rings are still good, disconnect your gas line making sure the gas is off, remove seizemic bracing from water heater, remove the top exhaust chute from water heater, dispose of water heater, get some help, they can be heavy, install new water heater, just hook everything back up .... You know while i was typing this.... you sure your pilot light didnt just burn out ?
