  1. I dont think its him, I think he works out of San Diego. Campo would be a different office.
  2. This is the work of some idiot in Oregon who cant fix issues in his state but wants to point out something petty like this in Cali. Face it, for a long time, we a lived in a Christian Society. Thats why the dollar bill has the verbage " In God We Trust" and the Pledge of allegieance has " One nation under god." I understand as our generations mature and take a liking to different beleif systems is their personal right, but this is as silly as asking someone to remove a cross from their necklace since it "offends" someone. There are bigger issues in society that need attention than a war memorial that is offending one idiot outside of the state its in.
  3. I wonder who got the most sand in their crack after "draggin" down that dune like they had worms.
  4. Like throwing a hot dog into an empty barn......
  5. Good people, good food, good times, and once a while, a good accident. Thats how I dune, but like more to cruize and enjoy the dunes, im still learning Dumont, so can go to fast.
  6. I just had to replace the door latch on my dodge and here is what I did, dont image it to be to different on other trucks. remove philips screws from the inside door panel remove screw from handle to open door to remove handle remove door latch detach tabs from panel to door detach cables for power windows locks, etc... remove door panel pull back protective clear plastic glued with some sticky black tacky glue, just enought to work and mess with door handle, remember this stuff has to back on. the locking mechanism was attached with a plastic clip to the handle that I had to pull back and to the side to remove then used socket wrench to remove 2 screws that held door handle in place on door remove lock cylinder from old broken handle and replace in new one reverse procedure to reinstall
  7. If they puched your lock most likely they were going the truck, not the radio, Any one who wanted a radio would have just busted your window. Albertsons and store security will do nothing for you unfortunately, they are not liable for your property unless you can prove they were negligent or it was their fault. I would file a police report so PD has their report incase they catch the idiot later on and they can contact you to press charges. Buy a new lock and install it yourself, not to hard. Looking at your signature, all chevys, fords, gmc's are famous for punched locks. Older model hondas accords, civics and Toyota Camrys it would have been a shaved key, also 90's Saturns with the 2.4 twin cam.
  8. I am having sand withdrawals so bad, i was forming dunes and "cresting" them in my cats litter box with the scooper.........
  9. I agree, They make good "cheater" tires at the race track when you want to drag your ride. I had a bud who used to drive for Toyota who used to spare me some. There worn in just right.
  10. You are lucky the had the money in his paypal account or else you would have just received a partial refund, this has happened to me on two occasions. One time, we bought the wife a Louise Vuitton or how ever you spell it purse on ebay. well we paid and waited and waited and it never came. Filed complaint with ebay and paypal. Well after the dispute, we only got about 40 percent of the money back. So i went on the FBI's website and reported the internet fraud we had gone through. About three days later, i get a call from a detective in Illinoise wanting to know if I had made a purchase for a purse on ebay and never received. Well just recently being scammed, I kinda interogated the detective for a bit and told him I would need to research his departments phone number my self and call and verify if he was an actual detective in the department and verify the case number. Well... Guess what it was.. The stupid lady we bought the purse from had scammed over 14 peeps for about 1,200 each. Well about 1 week later after naming my self as a victim, we received a cashiers check via Fed Ex for the Full amount, shhhhhh......., with an apology letter from the person. We then received an email from the detective stating that most of the victims had been reimbursed and those who hadent had to wait because she had to "access her husbands retirement benefits." to pay the rest of the peeps, but at the end, she ended up being charged with 14 felony counts of grand theft.
  11. Makes me miss my old silvia and 240 sx .... sigh...... The high school days when you would come around a corner and hit the emergency break..... I hope they like spending money on tires, I sure didnt.
  12. http://www.fourstroketech.net/ http://summitoffroad.net/_wsn/page5.html Heres a couple if you are serious about modding your 350. I have had no issues with mine and runs fine. It will never run like a 450 since the yamy 350 engine was originally made to power water pumps in asia for wells. To notice a difference you will need the following: Larger Bore cylinder head and high compression piston Stroker crank New Carb for more fuel demand Aftermarket valves, retainers, springs and guides A higher lift cam like WEB The classic BIG 3, air filter, exhaust and very important "proper Jetting" no i got it from a forum stuff And most important since the 350 is an air cooled engine and you will be running alot hotter, an oil cooler mod by taping into the oil gally on the clutch cover side of the case. Roughly 800 bucks in parts. I've done this and yes its alot faster and you freak the heck out of people when you drag them up comp or banshee hill and they ask is that a 350 ? but I would recommend you sell it and buy a 450 or bigger since the 350 is only capable of so much. Once your skill level and ability increase, you will want more power and pretty much you have maxed out a 350 with all the mods. Word of advice, use good quality head gaskets when putting the set up to gether and replace the head bolts with something better, you dont want the engine to cough through the cylinder head when you pin it, hint hint.
  13. There are big bore and strocker kits for the 350. I have a big bore kit in mine and works fine along wight a high compression piston. Its been jetted and dyno tuned along with a slip on exhaust and aftermarket intake and filter. You can also buy a strocker crank that will give you more HP. They sell full kits to bring your 350 to 449cc but you will have to add an oil cooler to the quad. I've personally seen a 449cc kit on a 350 keep up fine with a 660 that has been piped and jetted. PM me and il give you more info. on sites and contact numbers on who can help you.
  14. Don, You should contact the local media and see if they are interested to kick him while he is still down ... Dam :clown: My last words to him would have been, " Hey Mayor Kiss my " Good job
  15. I think the nastiest of all is the "Pee Balls" parents let their kids play in when they go to a fast food restaurant with an indoor play area.. By god that is NASTY MANG!!!! Those areas smell like feet, urine, spit and cheese.

  19. I agree, its been in the 100's here in Apple Valley. Well, so far parked the 4 cycle's with wheels for the season and getting ready the 2 cycles for the lake and the boat. Im hoping to take a trip here soon. Well got this from a website: You know its hot whenn....... you notice your car overheat before you drive it. You discover it only takes two fingers to drive your car The swans at the park come in "original Recipe" and extra crispy" The strawberries are ripe and the cab drivers are riper Pigs complain about sweating liek fat humans Your getting hot flashes and you a man When the beer gut or big butt dont keep you from wearing shorts You wish you would have gotten cloth seats in stead of leather You notice the best parking place is determined by shade not distance You sitting inside on www.dumontduneriders.com alot more in the a/c Clouds start looking like dunes........... STAY COOL GUYS>>>>!!!
  20. You dont pay 20 million to someone if your "NOT" guilty.....
  21. With some simple tools, you should be able to trace what wires are what. Red is usually power, Yellow is usually power when the hauler is switched on, black obcourse is ground. blue is usually the power for a power antena. The dual color wires are your speakers. If you find any double solid black or silver wires that are thicker than others, those might be RCA connections for a sub amplifier. Hope this helps.
  22. usually you can start with a cleaner was that has minor abasives in it to lift any impurities and take of any oxidation from the surface being polished, you will end up with kinda of a dull finish, you will then need to follow up with a polish wax which will bring out the luster and fill any fine scratches and bring out the shine and give you the "wet" look. Once your done with that, finish it off with a coat of sealer wax, something 100percent carnuba should work, but you can also get some protective waxed that last longer. After that it should look good. You can do it by hand , alot of work, or buy a polishing bonnet. I only use micro fiber towels to remove any wax from my cars, i would suggest you do the same. Be carefull with an electric polisher especially around painted areas, you can burn through the clearcoat and paint VERY fast. 4,000 RPM should do you good. Good luck. As for products, I only use "Wax Shop" available at your local auto body supply place, some janitorial supply also carry their products.
