  1. Very nice for sure but 08 Z06's are selling for 11K off of msrp, I'm hearing Z01's are going 40-50 LARGE over MSRP Thats 80-90K diff...... Get me the Challenger and it wont be stock but for the drive home
  2. GT 500 would smoke a Challenger but they just dont set right in stock form (mabye the 2010). LS3 equipped camero will be quicker as well but I'm liking the style of the Challenger... You could also buy a new C6 vette for the same price and leave them all but 2 seats is not an option for me.(friggin kids...) Kids are standing between me and a new Z06..
  3. Done, I'll PM you my cell #. Tks, Eric Edit for: If you have a couple of light colored 2008 2500's mega cab 4X4's with the Cummins let me know, I like the new 09's but not as much as the incentives on the 08's
  4. Tried to buy a silver SRT8 this week, they wanted 20k over msrp, got em down to 3k over but they would not do MSRP. I'm going to order a 09 SRT8 now because they are available in the 6 speed manual. Hemi orange is my color of choice! Nice @ 425hp but they are friggin pigs @ 4000+ pounds. They get hit with a BIG gas guzzeler tax as well.. SRT8 = 13 MPG (Pemium fuel) Inside is very plastic and un refined but one look @ the outside and I was done... Any dodge sales folks on this sight??? Willing to go MSRP, I figure with ramped up production, and the Camero, and new Mustang coming out they will be 2K back of invoice in a year after rebates...
  5. ?? 500,000,000,000 devided by 305,000,000 = 1,639.34. Just sayin...
  6. one of my old Funcos, on an epic day @ Dumont
  7. Sounds like they got pretty lucky, That's the 10 FWY wb @ Calimesa, Drove by there this morning and a couple miles from there a armed truck was on fire, they were trying to cut their way into it...
  8. moho here for above mentioned reasons plus if you want to get an rv spot on the river / lake you can tow the boat out with the moho.
  9. Very nice, Extreme's fit and finish are second to none. I've had a couple and had zero issues, definately on my top 3 list! You just made me want to make a run to sbdno and drop a deposit with these pics... Enjoy, be safe and have fun this weekend.
  10. That would add about 10 miles if the 38 was the route, you are speaking of the 18
  11. Best way for you would be 15n 215n 10e 30 towards highland exit san bernardino ave, go straight through san bernardino ave to lugonia turn left lugonia turns into state rte 38 right up to big bear, its the way we get our cranes up there when needed. Stop by barton flats (just past angelus oaks) for a beer were camping up there fri night. It's by FAR the straightest route. You will come in on airport side of town (east)
  12. Be polite, there are some great vendors and some that seem as if they just do not want to be there..... I personally don't see how they make any money on the off weekends. With the price of fuel etc, I would reccomend sticking to the big weekends at first. Oh, and watch the weather in Baker, if winds are 30 plus mph it's not worth the money you will make to have your equipment / product destroyed. GOOD LUCK!
  13. You know if they are filing Chapt 7 or 11? If they closed there doors must be 11. That really sucks, I had a couple over the years, and I for one had exceptional service from the factory. Truly sucks to see another business which supports our sport go under if this is true...
  14. Local dealer is getting 2 I tried to make a run @ reserving one a few months ago. Sales Mgr said he will give me a call when they figure out what they will be asking but it "looks like either 30K over msrp or an auction" :mischevious: I said dont bother, for that kind of jack I would be rolling in a new Z06. Nice car though AND a back seat!
  15. Two buddies have them and are happy, way stronger than an s4, rated to 1000hp in a sandrail. For close to the same money if I was building a car I would chose the Fortin (2 year warranty in a rail) but if youre looking at a car which allready has one, go for it.
  16. Just picked up this 70, it had been converted to a 110cc electric start lifan, The motor / tranny is about 400 brand new with electric start!
  17. The dad was actually walking behind the kid while he was riding, officer must of been having a bad day, they are WAY more laid back @ Dumont.. (except if they see you launching mortars) so I have heard...
  18. Funny thing is is that it is legal for a kid any age to drive a side by side or golf cart.. My kids are 10 and 12 and both ride 400's (when I can wrestle my 700 away from my 12 year old). They were riding lt80's @ 4 years old. Never been stopped although the camp next to us in glamis recieved a ticket for a 5 yr old on a quad... In the dirt the large quads are a lot to handle so my kids ride bikes, but on the sand the horsepower can go a long ways to keep you out of trouble. Oh, and nobody but myself will be teaching my kids how to ride AND I was talking on the cell not using my hands-free on the freeway today in California
  19. I thought SU was just relocating to a smaller facility???
  20. too bad you are not in so cal, we have set over 100 commercial package units in the last 2 months due to theft. Stores go to turn them on and no cooling due to a missing coil... Set 8 last friday (with cages) and by mon all the new units were stripped... f-in theives .. I'm looking forward to less peeps out in the dunes and looking for a deal on a slightly used rail...as always... :freakin_nuts:
  21. This was the first summer trip in mid may. If you guys ever get the chance to do one of the Baja Wide Open tours it is an absolute blast. Day 1 Horsepower Ranch , Ensenada Day 2 San Felipe Day 3 Bay of LA Day 4 San Ignacio Day 5 Scorpion Bay Day 6 La Paz Day 7 Cabo San Lucas Great food, great guides, and they let you drive the cars HARD (just pring some coin for the deductable). Even had Roberto Gurrero (f1 and indy cars) as one of 2 the guides (spins a mean hula hoop as well). 11 buddies and myself got togeather and were joined by a couple of Britts on the tour. Next is a couple of Havasu trips and a cruise to Alaska!!
  22. Very cool, I'm looking to make the same purchase, how far back of invoice did you end up? Congrats on the new ride!
  23. That satin black is a great idea holds up to the sand blast and shouldn't spot (from oil etc) like the flat. Man I wish my car wasn't gloss black... Anyways, new car looks SWEET and all's well that ends well.
  24. A guy we camped with had purchased one of the Joyners, he later added Kings, performance upgrades etc and is still stuck playing on the finger dunes. I take this sport seriously as well as the information I get on these boards. I have made some bad purchases in the past for sure, and if the fact that I'm willing to state my OPINION to save someone frome having a bad, costly experience makes me an "a$$" so be it. >You buy a new Japanese side by side and dont like it at most you loose 20% of purchase price. >You shop this market and by a mid travel beam car (from a well known MFG), and you buy right this time of year, if you dont like it you may even turn a buck. >You buy a chinese made Joyner and dont like it, well.. look at resale value on chinese atvs... I have been duning over 20 yrs and again have made some bad purchases, when you do it can literaly ruin a season or two and again I am just stating my OPINION trying to save someone some frustration / financial loss...
