Accident at comp saturday night, Prez Day weekend
lvnalolife replied to White Rhino's topic in Dumont Happenings
Christina ended up with the helmet somehow. Shaun already told your brother. -
Same strap I used to pull the buggy off comp sat night. If anyone saw I had to "jerk" it out pretty hard as it was just an anchor with 2 of the 4 wheels missing.

Shane, its J.J. Glad you and your daughter are doing well. Cage really did what it was supposed too. Dragging the rail down off the hill and up to the flats really gave my truck a workout. Shaun was worried for you. Stay strong and get better bro! Let us know if you need any help getting things back together. -

We will be there Sat. Maybe Sun but not sure. -
I tow the same trailer as dunefreak with my 99 f250 crew cab short bed which has a 12" lift on 38's. Like they said, proper equipment and take your time.

Checking interest. Summer morning run to Dumont? Dune in June?
lvnalolife replied to dunefreak's topic in Dumont Happenings
DAMMIT!!! I will be in San Fran that weekend with the wife. The 1st works better for me. Go back to that date! Hopefully we do more than 1. I am in for sure if there is no conflict on the wife's vacation planner. -
Steve, you should look into Marysvale instead of Duck Creek. Hundreds of miles of trails. We are planning a trip up there for Labor Day weekend. For the rest of the summer a bunch of Lake trips, maybe one down to Havasu. Pete, how bout we squeeze in some sunrise runs out at dumont?

Randy, I need one whenever you make them! F250 Thanks!

Thanks guys. Had a good one! Still young enough!

Baaabeeerrrt should check this out!

I've done all 4 routes also. The Indian Springs route was an easy pull compared to the others. Took longer but less strain on tow vehicle. We usually run the Tecopa route as it is the quickest.

By 10 years old my Lil Bro-in-law Charlie aka CampChild was riding a banshee and tearing it up. It all goes down to experience and capability. He grew up riding and racing though. Hell my 9 year old son steals my LTR 450 and cruises it around camp and on the finger dune. Would I let him dune it?.... Probably not til he is a little older/bigger.

Thanks everyone. He will be missed by all of us. Services for Charles "Chuck" Fickes Jr. will be held Thursday February 7th at 10:00am at the Boulder City Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. He was taken away from us too soon and will be surely missed. All that can make it are welcome. Please let anyone that knew Chuck know just in case I am unable to contact them.

Best bang for the buck? Put a manual trans in it.. -
Jim, thanks. I'll let you know if he still needs it after tomorrow. His rail is at the dyno now and would need it today. He thinks they might be able to do it with the cable they have if they download the older software. If not, I'll get ahold of you to borrow yours another day. Thanks again!
-
Friend of mine just rebuilt his motor and went to get a dyno tune. Problem is his Mo Tec M4 ECU is the older one and needs a special cable Mo Tec #61092. Does anyone local to vegas have one we can borrow for a day and return. He is in a bind and would like to get it tuned. Was told it is lean. Thanks!

Happy belated B-Day Anna. Hope it was a good one.

GLWTS! I have the same trailer. It has been a great trailer with no issues. Yours looks like it is in great shape. Looks good without the graphics. Someone will be getting a killer deal.
