  1. The issues with fire seem to start from a "cheap" fuel can in the back and it leaking onto the motor. At least buy a good can like Pete said. I have photos of the St. Anthony RZR that the guy got burned it... it's just a couple pieces of steal left.
  2. there are different levels of light bars for sure. The ones we have been selling are great in quality and I would compare them to name brands. many places online, ebay and the like, sell light bars very cheap, and we have experimented from them. We buy the ones we buy because they work, they are tested and have proven up to the task. the name brand ones are built really well also, and I am in no way saying they are not or trying to "bash" them. It all depends on the buyer and what works for them. we are totally confident in our light bars, and we feel they are an excellent value for price.
  3. they didn't do the discount last year. I was wondering about passes last week when I was close to Carter but figured they weren't out yet.
  4. I am not a football fan, so that never interferes with my dune time. I'd rather go do something fun then sit in the living room. I DVR shows I want to watch, but with live sports it's not the same. I did it all the time with Supercross and motocross though. I just made sure to not find out who won.
  5. if weather is decent I will be there First weekend of October for the whole weekend.
  6. yeah, I'd put our light bars up against anything else out there. I think you'd be very hard pressed to find any real difference, especially with the dollar amount differences. We are selling 30" lights now for just $250. The 50" curved are pure badd a$$. we are going to get some 40" curve in also before the season for the sand rail guys.
  7. i'd consider it. Last trip was pretty good. We are getting ready for vending this year though, so will just have to see.
  8. I can work some LED light bar deals. We have the Cree 30" listed for $250 and can do free lens covers for DDR members. We have 50" curve also, which might fit on a sand car, and would be sooo awesome. the curve light bars are the sh*t.
  9. pretty sure we will be going out the first or second week of Oct for a weekend trip. Not sure about anything sooner.
  10. I never saw the card. I didn't open the case up. I thought the camera was ok at the north pole, but was off when we got back to camp the last time. I don't have the card.

  12. It was an awesome trip. I'm glad I went. Looking forward to this season, and the off weekends when I get to ride. Holiday's will be all about working on vendor row. The dunes were very soft in spots, and had pushed around quit a bit. Nothing super scary though. I think I need to get back into Dumont mode with too much Coral pink time slowing me down. At the end of last season I felt like I was keeping up fine, but this time I was doing it, but it felt awkward. Sucks Garret crashed and had to stop riding from the bent steering stem, but at least nothing was broken. Not sure what it is with the Gopro and getting crashes. Mike drives in front of me all the time and he doesn't crash so maybe the curse just avoids him... I got my videos, I haven't gone through it yet. The Nerf bar camera got some video but it was really shakey and not really usable.
  13. It was nice seeing some of the old faces again, and meeting the new people also. I almost got my truck stuck right off the bat, but 4x4 low and locker rear pulled myself out. Whew. It was a good trip. fastony and others, don't forget about our shop. We are DDR sponsors and sell parts for ATV, UTV, and we are getting some Sand Rail parts in stock soon. We can order 930 CV parts and will have some on Vendor row this season. www.gtpoffroad.com
  14. I'm all loaded up and ready to go. Got up early this morning, to bed early tonight. Just couldn't pass up a trip.
  15. passes are good at Dumont from Oct - end of sept. One year pass. I have mine if it's needed. I'm sure pete and others have one also.
  16. damn it, now I want to go... all this talk is making me want to RIDE!! Anyone have room for an extra quad and an extra dude?
  17. Mike is out at this point for sure, he made other plans already for a Bar run through the desert. I'm not planning on that so deciding if I want to get up at 4am or not. We leave on the 27th for Idaho so don't want to damage me or the bike either... hmmm. Hard to pass up a Dumont trip though.
  18. New season is gonna start, have my old set of paddles here at the shop. Tires sell for $150 each normally. this is a great deal.
  19. ATC, ATV, UTV... even a sand rail bring it in and we will do what needs done.
  20. Since we are vending on Halloween, I'm hoping for a trip on the 17th-19th, 2 weeks before Halloween. If it's too hot then I'm sure we would look at that weekend before also. We are trying for a quick trip this weekend if we can get someone with at least a RZR to come with us.
  21. we can work on it for sure. Hopefully tracking any parts needed won't be too hard, but the labor part isn't a problem.
  22. we just need to put turbos on more SxS. This 1k build we are doing is going to be a great example of the potential of both the RZR and our shop.
