  1. that trailer looks very familiar, just about 2 feet longer... Looks very nice.
  2. trans is out of Mike's car, hopefully it will be all back together. My Raptor should be all good and running so I am just going to follow along with that. I got the new trailer to fit a RZR 1k but don't see that happening quite yet.
  3. we are starting to carry more parts for the VW cars. There are so many bikes and cars and motor options now it's hard to stock it all. We just got this 28Ft. trailer and It's already too small, So happy we didn't get the 24Ft we looked at. We still wouldn't have had basically a new motor though... We will have belts, fuel pump, pulley washers, and some other parts that I can't think of right now for VW. We have Heim joints, CV boots, grease, 930 Stub axles, Ball joints that would work on a variety of rails. Along with all the SxS and ATV stuff we have. We will be there selling Thursday and there Wednesday doing some riding.
  4. we will be there vending. And running some Black Friday deals. you'll just have to come by and see
  5. yeah we have many of them in the trailer while on Vendor row. We typically have an axle or 2 with us any time we are at Dumont.
  6. I doubt there will be much for vendors out there at all this weekend. I haven't seen anyone with Dumont or Got Sand Stickers out there either.
  7. one thing to keep in mind with these is that the fuel from a can will travel down. this goes basically right onto the header, and down into the skid plate. That fuel would pool and start a fire under the passengers. The fuel tank is also under the passenger and holds up to 8 gallons of fuel. That is plenty of fuel, in a plastic cell to burn. I have personally seen a RZR fuel tank leak at the sending unit area. There was talk that the starter stuck on this particular RZR, and that while the RZR was burning it was heard trying to start. I heard this from a person on scene. Was it the gas cans fault, I guess it's hard to say. It could have spilled some gas down, enough to start a fire, and remained intact after the fire started until the fire reached it.
  8. i'd have to agree. It looks like they spent some time on the road and maybe added some rock. It was a nice drive, I've only seen it better once before.
  9. Mike used to Burn 20-30 gallons in a weekend in a Turbo RZR. It would burn 5-6 gallons in a 30 - 40 minute run.
  10. Everyone should just come be Vendor row. There were a many more trailers out there then I thought today when I was there. I dropped off the Vending trailer and Mike is now there also. I thought it was VERY weird that a Production company was set-up right at Vendor row. Not directly on it, but right there... anyway Looking like a pretty good weekend with a little cooler temps. My truck said 86* today on Vendor Row at about 4:30PM. Best thing about winds is it's always windy while your riding. 50MPh = 50 MPH wind...
  11. The Nevada OHV sticker is good in all the western states that I have seen as long as it's on the bike you shouldn't have any issues.
  12. I like less people for sure. even with my little trailer I hate the azzhats very much. I usually leave from our shop so the 15 to Blue Diamond/ tecopa way is the shortest and fastest for me. I was going to try the Amargosa Pahrump way with the F150 if it had too much trouble up the hump, but it did well enough for me to not go that way. Through Amargosa from where I lived added 20 miles i want to say, maybe that is from the shop i don't remember now. But I like going the shortest way. the F350 doesn't care at all with this trailer over the hump so that makes it easy also.
  13. We are an Antigravity Battery Dealer. They sell several different jump starters, Mike and I both have ones we have been testing with good results. They also sell batteries you can put into just about any vehicle. Their main batteries aren't good to be drained with stereo and stuff but they are coming out with a more deep cycle style battery. Batteries start in the $150 range. They weight only a couple pounds but you can start a RZR easy with them. I am planning of getting one for my Raptor also. The high compression it almost too much for the regular battery. These things are super sweet and we hope to have something for Halloween on Vendor row. Either way we can get everything they make. Also... we are working on getting an order in with superstrap.
  14. We bought a stash of Heims (and a few other things) to have at Dumont for repairs. Look like we should look into these to possibly have these on Vendor row next time. We have some there either way for Halloween at least.
  15. I go Blue Diamond, to Tecopa, to Dumont. there was some repair work on Tecopa/ Old Spanish trail over the summer. The road still isn't great, but some of the bad spots are better. I only tow a smaller trailer, but I know plenty of people take this route with up to 40' 5ths. I live way up north, and I don't want to climb the Baker grade so I don't take the 15. I hate traffic, especially when towing a trailer so I don't like the 15 for that either.
  16. This is the only photo I could find and the trailer is at the shop. this is a 32" LED tv and uses just 2 bolts to mount it. The TV is VERY light.
  17. I mounted a 32" LED in my hauler. I remove it when driving and it's no real issue when parked. the stud is just wood in there, and this TV is only a few pounds. I was considering using lag bolts and going all the way through the trailer but it wasn't needed for me. Mike has a HEAVY flat screen mounted to his wall and it's been fine for years. Also removed while driving.
  18. I think we would be out there that weekend.
  19. Some great rides on Saturday. It was super sketchy night riding Friday night on the quads but we took it easy and just screwed around. The Raptor motor decided it had enough of working and locked up the sunset run to North Pole Saturday night. I just loaded up and headed home Sunday morning and missed all those rides. Halloween is going to be crazy with not much riding for Mike and I being on Vendor row. We will be there early for some riding and hoping to hit the dunes maybe in 2 weeks.
  20. We are still planning on staying the weekend and it seems there are quit a few others saying they are camping also. There should be at least one more quad with us also, well 2 more. Right now weather.com says 91* and 63*. That low makes a big difference as it gives you much more time in the morning and evening to get some riding in. Can't ride much with the sun up at noon anyway.
  21. For sure a lot of RZRs and a lot of High dollar ones at that. the Sand Cars that were there were Badd a$$ for sure. Not much for Artic Cat or can-am, nothing really for even the 900s. TMW had a 1000 there that we saw in Idaho that is a major build. ZX1400 motor, Lone star Long travel, and full body kit. It's a badd a$$ machine. I do plan on building an XP 1000. It will have a turbo, Long travel, and the other typical stuff. I know it will be a nice machine. The Turbo kits that are out now are complete, and very reliable. At 9-12 lbs boost they are sweet. With good shocks the XP1000 ride very good. I'm looking forward to it for sure. Just putting money into other things right now. (Just wait to see our Set-up at Dumont this year) A SxS stock is nice, with the right mods it's awesome. It's never going to be a sand car, but to each there own. I'd love to have a Turbo Honda car, or LS1 car someday to.
  22. the issue I had with mine was the thermostat. wires were not tight on it.
  23. I think I'm in either way. hoping for the temps still to be cool enough to be there all weekend.
