Both sets have an adjustment knob for volume control. Full cloth covered ear muffs with the best speakers they offered. Cost new was $175 each will sell both for $175.00 located in Las vegas and will ship on your dime. PM me for photo's SOLD!
  3. Why can't you use sheet metal and have it bent and then use lap seal to bond it to the rubber roof and the A/C unit?
  4. Buy a good small first aid kit with a space blanket (sand is cold when your lying on it) and other type of emergency items such as clot stop , it can save someones life if they have a head wound or bad cut. Remember it can take up to several hours to get medical help out there so you may be the only thing that may keep them alive. I always wanted to supplement my first aid knowledge but never could find a class that wasn't long and drawn out to just learn the basics of preventing shock, stopping bleeding and CPR. May be a good thing to have knowledge of. You never know what your going to come across while out duning.
  5. Don't drink and drive. Simple words to stay alive bye!
  6. Tim I have a buyer here locally for all 4 of them. Thanks
  7. $10.00 each tube. Time to do CV's? PM me if your interested. First person who wants them gets them. Prefer to sell all 4 in one transaction if possible.
  8. If you haven't bought your season pass for the non holiday one, then PM me. I may be able to help you out.
  9. I think you can find a mount that actually mounts to the ceiling (metal studs there) and it becomes a pull down/fold up with a support strap on it for safety.
  10. Thanks Stephen for volunteering the use of your truck to help the dummies out. My grandson is in love with your truck, good thing he's not a car thief lol! Glad you liked the pace Ithink it may have been a little to fast for some but you can't please them all.
  11. Yeah I called them today and am waiting for a call back from Mike. The guy I talked to seemed to think it was my liability amounts that made it more but I want to know the "official" answer from Mike.
  12. what liability coverage's are you carrying? Mine is for 30K loss but 100/300k liability and I am at $800.00 per year
  13. I have been doing business with Mike Seifer for about 20+ years. He is a great guy.
  14. Shawn Thompson @ 702 436-2495 that's his day job. He did drywall for years but since the slowdown he's had to make a buck selling RV's for Johnny Walker's. He does side work and does fantastic work,. He is on time, reasonable and top quality. Only guy that does any work at my house as I know I could leave and not a thing would be out of place upon my return. Straight up honest guy.
  15. Terry, Thank you for your past support. After closing the doors to our South Phoenix shop in 2008, I opened Big Chicken Hot Rods a hot rod and custom fabrication shop in 2010. I am currently designing a mid engine roadster for the street. The engine is a Hilborn injected VW that creates 200hp. I expect the car to tip the scales at less than 1000 pounds when finished. We are enjoying the build and will be creating a gallery of the cars progress as it is built at www.bigchickenhotrods.com . We still build many of our Polaris, Yamaha and Artic Cat UTV cages. One of our recent development projects is the creation of a bolt on halo cage for the 900xp Ranger ROPS cage. The development for the mounting system is done, and we are looking for a customer interested in exchanging a deeply discounted prototype for use of their vehicle in pictures and development. If you or a friend is interested in a XP900 ranger cage send me an email at bigchickenhotrods@gmail.com. Over the past year we have facilitated an engine transplant into an Elva D sports racer, Rebuilt the suspension and interior sheet metal on an Ecotec powered Nash metropolitan, and collaborated with Mixed Media FF+E on a stunningly detailed pickled and polished I beam table. We currently have space available on our calendar if you would like assistance with an automotive or fabrication project. Thanks again for your support, If you would to see updates on our shop car and other work give us a like on facebook. Thank you, Mike Ferguson Big Chicken Hot Rods.
  16. I am trying to finish up a couple of things to make a day run.
  17. So just to be the devil's advocate, who's going to these vehicles? If I pull up and say I have a stock vehicle but have really got a modified internally vehicle how are you going to know? The only reason we asis back in the day when the Jeep club was running stock, modified and unlimited classes we always had at least one fool who would either get in a lower class or get caught with a cam etc.Of course we could hear a cam by pulling a vacuum line. How are you going to tell on these type of vehicles? I have no dog in the fight I just know there are some that will cheat even if it's just a small change to win.
  18. In the razor had 2" tops and 3" waist straps. I like Crow but thew Simpson's D3'are nice since you only have to buckle the waist belts and the sub strap. The shoulderbelts are already secured onto the waist straps. Down side to them is if you are just cruising and only want to wear lap belt you can't.
  19. Don't get cheap on safety items like belts. Simpson, Crow and lot's of other safety companies make good products and they are all around the same price. The reason is that what it cost to build them so they hold up if they are ever needed. Don't forget to add the submarine belt while your doing the 4 point, there cheap and a life saver. I have seen to many people slide out of the 4 points plus the sub belts keep the lap belts on your hips and do not allow them to ride up and cause internal injuries if something were to happen. While we are on the subject look into either arm or wrist restraints, they save all kinds of valuable body parts in SXS and sand car accidents.
  20. They are late again this year, apparently some issue with the printer in Sacramento. They should be out to vendors within a week or so.
