YFZ450's... Good or bad?

I am looking to buy a yfz450 but I want to know how good it does all around but mainly in sand... Any answers?

Im not a big fan, my son rides the R and I like it but the yfz450's riders compartment is a little cramped for me

I was having buyer's remorse after the first time I rode mine. Felt like the handle bars were between my knees. Fixed that (see below), and now I wouldn't trade it for a bigger bike.
