higheroctane69 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 This will be my first trip out to Dumont this season or since I moved back to Cali. So... What vendors plan on being out there? Will there be anyone selling water refills and black tank pumping? I was surprised to see no mention of prez weekend on here yet (prob too early). Will there be Drags this year? Thanks Quote
dune_rat Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I've never seen anyone with water refills or black tank pumping at Dumont. Quote
Adam @ GTP Off Road Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 So far this season there has not been any water, or Poop pumpers out at Dumont. Typically it isn't busy enough, and people don't stay long enough to need those services. Quote
dunefreak Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I have heard a rumor that the Jeep Club didn't get their permit in early enough for their event. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it sounds like it might not be happening this year. Anyone with more info please let us know. Quote
ssnut1970 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I've been to Dumont once before and looking for a group to camp and ride with. I have a V8 rail and will be only 2 adults this trip. Quote
ynot Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 The L.V. Jeep Club is putting out flyers for the event on President's weekend. I have not talked to them personally but it would appear that everything is on for the event. Quote
dunefreak Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Good to hear. I wonder who a good contact would be. I bet Ken would know. Quote
Svengoolie Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I found this, but who knows. I look forward to seeing them every year. Quote
dunefreak Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Same flyer I found too when I did a search. Good news though I got a reply from the Jeep Club and they are having the Jeep Jamboree Prez weekend at Dumont. 1 Quote

Lasvegas Atvtours Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Two years ago I saw a guy out there with a fresh water tank at vendors row. Haven't seen him since so I'm guessing he didn't do so well. As far as a pooper scooper, not sure what special permit they would need to do that but would imagine it would not be cost effective for someone to do so. Glad to see the Jeeps will be out there, should be a great weekend! Edited February 1, 2014 by Lasvegas Atvtours Quote
