sanddunesaddict Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Yes sir its blown and injected. Super charger. You need to put a smaller pulley on it and put some more timing in it. It will run extremely well then Quote

Here Dan let me fix this statement so you understand I was not trying to make this sound like some bad a$$ thing like you seem to think  So we finally have an update on the new rail! Picked up a bus box trans. Built for a SCORE race bug but never used. So we finally have an update on the new rail! Picked up a bus box trans. MADE for a score sanctioned race bug, but never used. I didn't mean BUILT as in your reference I meant MADE FOR. I am not claiming to be any form of an expert, hell for all I know its a POS thats going to sit in my bathtub for the next three months leaking gear oil all over the place!! I am going to assume that cause it was made for somthing that would be racing that it is a higher quality then say a trans that came out of the pick n pull junk yard! I was just excited that we accomplished something on it! Just kidding about the bath tub thing!! Quote

Just trying to find out some info like witch bus box(there are several)there are differant starters depending on witch box,I'm curious about gear ratios, does it have gear reduction boxes?does it have std bus drive flanges or has it been upgraded to 930 flanges or something else since its a "built for SCORE" trans maybe we all may have some extra parts you will need or can be on the look out for or when you say "MADE FOR" is it an after market trans? either way its sound like a very good find, was it "FREE" good thing its out of the tub gear oil leaves a nasty stain Quote
