On Monday I picked up some trash from a firepit behind our camp area. All I have to say is: WHOEVER CAMPED NEAR BATHROOM #6 BEFORE HALLOWEEN AND LEFT ALL THAT TRASH IS DISGUSTING!!!! I picked up a bunch of water bottles & soda cans that were just left there. The worst thing I discovered was the dirty diaper. How gross is that??? I was in dry heeves after I discovered that!!! The first time we actually came out with our toy hauler, I was hooked, which was Halloween '06. Been a few times since. Getting a motorhome for T-Day, and we're counting the days til we head on out! :dance: We were all young once, and did stupid stuff. But leaving your trash behind to burn and pollute the very environment and land that the government is trying to close and prevent us from duning on is SHAMEFUL! Right on :afro: !!!! I give thanks for the DDR peeps who had a pair, stepped up, and did something about it! We will try and be vigilant like that as well. Like everyone else said, those azzhats DID get what they deserved! Looking forward to chillin' w/ y'all for T-Day week! Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!!! motoxman30 Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 im sorry to intervene but burning trash is just like running your vehicle..it all goes into the air...burning wood is like burnin trash...it all goes to the same place just less chemicals...id have to say its better in a way...there are No trash cans to dump ur trash and i see trash bags all over the road into baker and pahrump...so basically wut we r sayin is load ur trash into ur truck and if it falls out who cares...its not on dumont....rates are being raised and i havent really seen much happening....sure a new road is nice but trash cans would work at the entrance...id rathers see it burned than all along the side of the roads. I don't see that as ANYONE'S point of view here. Trash is supposed to be hauled out regardless and properly secured in the bed of your pickup no matter what. Dumpsters are not the answer to a cleaner Dumont. Pack it in, Pack it out! It's not rocket science. I'm not even getting into the whole dumpster agrument here either. What? so your saying burning your beer cans it the same thing as taking them home to throw away? it is not and never will be, aluminum cans do not disintegrate as a burnable trash as a paper towel.
