Anyway... doesn't matter how anyone gets there as long as many do! Attendance at this meeting is especially important because they listened to the complaints that TRT meetings are always on a weekday and moved to a Saturday at least this one time. I haven't seen an agenda yet but that's not unusual... the meeting is a ways away just yet. When one is available it will get posted. Someone also asked in an earlier post if this was a public meeting and if there would be time for public comment and the answer is yes to both questions, always. VickiW. I may be leaving a little bit earlier to meet the FoDD board of directors for a cup of coffee but that shouldn't be a very long meeting. I have to take my truck as I am meeting up with a guy at the BLM office who bought a quad from me at the dunes and I have to bring him a set of dirt tires. I have 3 seats available. I do have to say i have a whole new respect for what the TRT does for us duners and im going to try my damndest to show and voice my opinions and ask questions. For those that think the public doesnt have an influence on what happens at the dunes you guys have one hell of a misconception. TRT and BLM listen closely to requests made by the general public and act on them.. I and everyone else URGE you to attend at least one meeting no matter what it takes. Next meeting is Feb 5, at 10am in the barstow field office.. Thanks to YNOT for what he does to make our community a good one.. And to all of those at the blm for taking the time to listen to us and to have the meeting on saturday by request. HOWEVER... there is always one good side to these meetings... that Slash X Bar thats right down the street is like a off roaders home away from home... Cant wait to get back there again. Would've been great to have MORE voices there to actually listen to, oh well Having lunch with y'all just made it all the better!!
