dupee_digital Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 what do they ask you for when you go to dumont for the day, weekend etc. do you need registration for your atv? do you need to show drivers license etc ? thanks Quote
HappyHour Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 They don't ask you for anything but your $40 for a weekend pass. The only time you'll be asked anything by anyone of authority, is if you are acting a fool, or doing something stupid and the cops want to question you. Other than that, I don't think you'll have any problems. BTW, this coming weekend is free due to the Cleanup that's going on. Quote
Kens Colors Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 If you look and it should not be too difficult to find all the info you are looking for is on this website. Passes, rules etc etc etc. Quote
dunefreak Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) It depends where you are from. If you are a CA resident, technically your bike needs to be registered. If you are a non-CA resident, you need an non resident OHV sticker. They usually don't harrass you for these unless you are doing something stupid (like Happyhour said). You will definitely need a whip and helmet though. No need to show your driver's license. More info for ya... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/dumont_info.html http://www.dumontduneriders.com/passes.html Edited March 13, 2008 by dunefreak Quote
1320 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 technical......LOL if safety was the issue, they would inspect when you pay there "be there" fee. At some pont they will realize the monkey that checks for your "be there" permit can multitask and check for OHV stickers.......then someday maybe even check for things like helmets, snell numbers, eye protection etc...... NAh, cause actual safety isnt the object, just the collection of fees, thats why they check on the way out too, to see if you paid to get in, its like costco or sams club..... Quote

I can only imagine the line to get in if they started that. Quote
