Every month I get together with a group friends and we do a downtown barhop ride on our bicycles. We light em up with LEDs and all kinds of blinky crap. We started doing it last summer and we usually do it on 1st Friday, but lately we've been bouncing around and doing it whenever we can. With Christmas this month, we decided to label this ride the Jingle Bike Ride. We decorated our bikes in Christmas themed stuff and put jingle bells on all the wheels. It was ridiculous and a ton of fun. We got quite a bit of cheers and high fives from all the tourists. If you live in Vegas and want to get in on the rides I can send you the info. Dune Run

This was an awesome weekend. I was glad just to be back in the sand after my accident. I didn't bring any sand toys with us. (Kind of weird to not tow a trailer to dumont) I hung at camp the entire weekend with the family and my buddies!! Had an amazing NYE (I think?!? ) lots of camp fire antics as usual... I think I danced my a$$ off literally. I paid the next day with my back and sore muscles from not much exercise with my injury. But felt like a million bucks Saturday.. I got to fly my new drone a lot this weekend. I'll say I'm hooked,I loved it!!! A bad weekend in the dunes is always better than a good weekend at home. And this was far from a bad weekend even with zero sand toys!!!

We had an awesome time again. Yes chilly with daytime fires. Seemed like it warmed up after 10pm???? coulda been the fireball drink Chad made me drink. We had some great rides. LouB and Steve (not sure his DDR name) both lead some rippin' runs, and I did a couple too. My GoPro keep deleting video if I turn it off and back on. so I have none of my runs but got LouB and Steve's runs on video. Missed having Dunefreak (AKA Prez, The Frizzz, Pete) out with us this time. Know he woulda layed down some rippin' lines. I had a buddy that didn't camp with us crash his quad. He is going to be ok, just a little sore. but other than that I think it was a pretty safe weekend. Hope that's true for everyone else. For how few camps out there on a holiday weekend there sure were a lot of peeps in the dunes. We had a few close calls. The sand was nice and dry but due to minimal wind the tracks were rough shortly into our trip. My son Ryder got to see the North Pole for the first time as we were greeted by Brice and Reese's gang out there. Our buddy Pat had his new RZR 1000 out for his first time. He's hooked. Did great too with only a couple . Our Buddy Chad got a couple cool Videos of me and my niece on the right side of Comp doing some of these . Thanks Bro. It was just great to be out again with everyone that went. Gettin back to feeling like this is what we live for again. Not sure what dune raspadoo was at, but is was chilly we even had a day time fire going. But what a blast of a weekend. So much fun I didn't even take out my camera! Campfire dancing NYE, fun times! Laying in the hauler with a hangover on NYD, relaxing with movies. Spending 10 out of the past 14 days at Dumont, priceless. Only went on two rides, but after the epic weekend of Christmas, I really didn't care. I did get a bit pissed though, when some group, a motorcycle and a couple RZR's kept cutting me off to get in the line I was already bringing up the tail end in! Find or make your own line jerks, don't cut off the person already in the line to join it! Not once, but 3 times! Seemed very quiet out there, talked to a couple rangers while waiting for Beefy Boys dinner on Saturday and they said it was a quiet weekend, no incidents. We did make it over to comp NYE for a minute, place was pretty dead with only a couple groups out there, this was about 10ish. Played the saran wrap game on Saturday night, that was good laughs! All and all a great weekend of camp fun!
