so after reading about train horns @ comp over t-day weekend .I started thinking I should get serious about installing mine on my truck.I have been wanting to get air bags for when i`m in tow.but my question is i`m sure they have some type of air tank & air compressor.but will that tank have enough air to make it go off? cause in my garage i have a 60 gallon air compressor & at 160 p.s.i it will make it work all the way down to about 120 p.s.i ...i was thinking i could get air tank from auto zone to hold enough air volume? i just dont want to spend all day working on something that i dont really know if it will work. so have any of you guys done something like this to your rides? cause i think it would be great when some jack hole cuts you off when your towing or when they try to squeeze between you and a curb on a tight corner. oh and i guess at 1:00 to 3:00am when we have been drinking to much around the camp fire. thanks for the help guys

my wife talked with her friend and she said it was our friends brother`s daughter.i guess he ran her legs over & broke both of them.but they always go to the hard pack stuff no sand.but i guess they could`ve started riding in the sand.but my wife`s friend likes to add things to her stories. either way who ever it was i hope they`re doing good & will be back out there again.

sounds like a sweet trip & you got some really good pictures.I went up there for work once,I know all about those bums.I think if you have never been there you should go,to see how those city folks live.

I got mine annual with all the holidays online.i think it was only $120.00.I remember last year was jacked up. i even stopped at the BLM in Barstow last year to get one & there was none to be had. it sucked bad cause i think we went 6 to 8 times last year and @ $40.00 a pop yuck.... the new annual passes are different than years before there kind of cool looking.with getting my pass this year it only took 3 to 5 working days to get to my house.pretty sweet. by the way hows the weather out there??were leaving in the morning.cant wait

In my flat bottom i used to run unocal 110 but then i switched to av gas.the only thing is in both of my 1050`s the main jet went up 2 or 3 sizes.the reason i changed was George @ clay smith cams/eng.. said i was kind of wasting my money & av gas would be just fine.since he has done all my machine work and helped me with the motor combo on both of my big blocks,and he also runs this in his stuff with the same motor combos. i put them together and they run hard.boat motor is blown & at 15lbs of boost it made right @ 1000 HP.my 65 it is N/A with NOS on the motor it made a little over 600H.P. Both motors have been together for 8 years.also both motors will turn nearly 8000 rpm,no problem yet..knock on wood.i dont know what av gas i get at the river but i know i get it from parker oil.i think all the av gas today is the same but when i`m running them hard i always do a plug check at least on one of the corners of the motor.i guess it boils down to what you want to spend & what is easier for you to get.enough rambling for now,i`m done..

my group & I are going the weekend of..that is a great weekend,it seems like everybody has been cooped up all summer so the coolest things will show up.super fast cars,quad,bikes,etc...you guys get the point.SWEET WEEKEND CANT WAIT.I need to get my heads back from the shop & start assembling my motor for the buggy bigger & faster I cant wait..

[ Trust me when I tell you married guys/gals out there "it's cheaper to keep 'em" you know why they say it cost so much "CAUSE IT IS WORTH IT"my son`s mom was a real peach fuggin tweaker.but in a way THANK GOD cause i got custody of him when i was 19 or 20 but she had left him to me @ 3 months old,when i realized the great idea i had about doing the right and marrying her was OVER..i had to grow up fast but i was the one at fault.it wasnt like he said hey i want to be born to a couple of 18 year olds.but thankfully it all worked out cause now i have one of the best wifes a guy could ask for.i think what goes around comes around.it will get better with time and i`m sure your probably getting tired of hearing that one,but its true.good luck @ least the dumb court system didnt give her custody on top of everything else you`d be paying child support to a woman that probably would used it on her or whatever instead of the kids.

i just got back,i wanted to say thanks to ltr450(pete) for driving and taking his toy hauler.it has been awhile since i`ve rode my quad that much.i have some blisters,burns on my right leg from the dam electric fan or exhaust and i`m sore.other than that it was a great trip & GLAD I WENT.we got to ride with bigguns and i think Suzukiltr450rider and his chick great rides.i wish i would have had the camera cause ltr450 did some of his famous riding skills.lets just say a handlebar in the boot & he was under the quad.glad your okay pete.i got a sweet deal on a awesome shirt thanks dunefreak.now come on OCTOBER cause i have been bitten by the sand bug.

no work for me tomorrow so what time do you want to leave at tomorrow?i`ve have to go to the storage place and get my quad out of the trailer.probably need to air up the tires and check fluids.

the high rise i`m building in san diego was swaying a little.of coarse some of my guys tried to use that as excuse to go home early.I was in the damn man lift coming down 37th floor & i thought it was feeling a little more shaky than normal.i missed a good old shaker,it has been awhile.hope everyone is alright and no major damage.

your going to need more than just a pipe to whoop my arse.buggy wont be ready by the night drags but come october all your seeing is the new engine cage.but what a great score pete .does he have another one cause my 450 is going to be jealous.i will call you this weekend to set up our plans to go to the night drags.cant wait for this season to start.did he say anything about needing to do some fuel mapping changes?or will the cherry bomb work just fine?

on my lt250r the best gearing i found that worked best for me was 12 x 45.i could launch in 2nd and everyone else goes for their 2nd my 2nd is will go about 10` feet or so then its off to 3rd then 4th.i could get the jump on a lot peeps but then the higher powered quads would be able to past me but not all of them.CT told my brother in law and I that we could run 13 x 39 or something and be able to run 4th gear up comp at glamis but i know glamis comp doesnt have anything DUMONT COMP.long story short it didnt work for either one of us.good luck
