Just dropped off my son to the Recruiting Station... It has started!! LOL!! He is so ready to hit Boot Camp its unreal! We got to the Recruiters at Noon than about an hour later he was off to Georgia... WOW!! The next time we see him will be in June... Have fun!! :freakin_nuts:

Feinstein... What an EFFEN JOKE!!! I sent a letter about Johnson Valley.... Won't do any good... But I sent one anyway....

Well.. This Dad has mixed fellings also... How ever he is now his own man and he has made his own decision. My son "Brad" turned 18 in Oct and started looking to all the military branches. Looks like the army is what he is into. 2 of his high school friends are also going in with him. He is going to Fort Benning, Georgia on Monday 03-09-09. He will finish basic training in 8 weeks, 5 weeks for A.I.T., Graduation, come home for 10 days than off to Infantry school. He is going with 11x Company. Looks like many "Kids" are turning to the military because they offer so much with training and College, Also todays Economy does not have many good jobs out there for them. :moon:

Man!! Time really goes by FAST!!! My son just joined the Army for 8 years... 4 full time and 4 reserve time. HE is leaving for boot on 3-10-09. We are so proud of him!! I will up date later!!

I have flood lights around the property, 4 dogs and a sling shot if the :shit_fan: ....

Im sorry about your friend! We will keep them in our prayers for a speedy recovery. I have seen some riders go down very hard out in the desert just like your friend. They are riding today after some tough recoverys... Keep the power of prayers up for them!!

I know we all hear every day about how bad things are going, unemployment going sky high, homes being lost and BS bailouts to Big CEO's!!! I live in Big Bear Lake, Ca. This ski resort town has seen a little decrease in the weekend crouds and the Real Estate marked has dropped off the charts... Over the last Christamas and New Years holiday Big Bear had over 150.000+ visitors over the 2 week holiday. It gave some of the local business a little bump but Im still seeing them going out of business EVERYDAY!! It just seems like there is no way out of this .... Recession we are in now.... THANKS BUSH!!! I dont know if we are in a Recession or a Depression... I think its a Recession when its slow and just maybe your neighbor is out of work... Its a Depression WHEN YOUR OUT OF WORK!!!! I dont know about all of you out there but I am REALLY looking foward to seeing that :poop: BUSH leaving office and getting on with fixing this so called Economy.... I dont know how long its going to take to get back on track. Some say 5 years others just dont care anymore... So where do feel the Economy is going?

Hey DDR!! It looks like winter is here with a VENGENCE!! Im plowing for the county doing 12 hr shifts at night... OVER TIME!!! Here are some pix.. My sons truck representing DDR... There is a truck under there.. Big Bear High School closed... Snow Day!! all the trees are loaded down.. Behind the wheel in my Loader... Im plowing a road out side of town that had 4 feet of snow.. My drive home from work... LOL!! Ill put up some more pix later of the snow... Here are some pix just for the hell of it... This is me on the weekends... This was a sunset here last week... Who knew 4 feet of snow was comming...LOL! They dont call this place.. Big Bear for nothing... Petey.bmp

LOL!! I was thinking the same thing... I like our Moho but the drive out really sucks!! An R.V. storage would be nice in Baker but the security would be a problem I think. Leaving lots and lots of toys in Baker would be a problem. That place is like 3rd world country. I could just see bikes, quads, rails and whatever else being stolen out of there...

WTF is that :poop: supposed to be??? That is the biggest waste of money yet! I could see that thing snaping off over a good speed bump.... Its like a transformer for your car.. Give me $20.00 of what ever they were smoking! :clown:

We had Thanksgiving at home again this year. We wanted to have it a Dumont this year but I was put on standby for work... Also were paying off bills... and with Christamas coming we are going to just keep it simple till after the holidays.. Its nice not to have to drive all over the place for Thanksgiving and deal with crouds and people... We like to stay at home, make a Thanksgiving dinner than just relax... Were plannig a trip in January and for Prez day!! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving this year!!
