  1. Found a pic of the table. From a Rage'n. Cant find these legs anywhere.
  2. Observe the masses. Do the opposite.
  3. Sure took their time to get to the wrecked Rhino! Fast walk, nearly a jog. I guess the driver was not worth running for! The camera man was almost the first one there!
  4. I would post some pics but the table is with the trailer at storage. I have considered using the legs from other folding leg tables. However, they make getting in and out of the dinette a pain. The legs on the trailers table are designed for easy access. I have not been able to find similar legs anywhere. Thanks for everyone's input!
  5. My deepest condolences. Its tough. She knows you love her. (used present tense on purpose). We all wished we could have been there for our loved ones more often. Guilt is a part of the grieving process. Think about the good times. Talk to family as you get together. Celebrate her life and what she meant to you. Our prayers to you and your family. :praying: :praying: :praying:
  6. The site only works if people go and view the atv descriptions. otherwise, only the people who list will check out who else is unlucky. Its a good idea that needs more pub. Maybe as part of an atv classified site. JMO.
  7. A few years back we were on a trailer vaca in the redwoods in northern CA. The #7 rod decided not to play anymore in the 5.9 v8 DODGE. We were stuck in Ukiah. Called some friends in Modesto. They drove all the way to Ukiah, and towed the trailer home. I drove that Dodge truck from Ukiah all the way to Dublin where I work, Knockin and bangin! Gotta love peeps that will drive the extra 200 miles to save your azz! Gotta love them dodge trucks too! Thanks again Bill & Amber!!!!!!
  8. I got rid of sooooooooo much crap this weekend! Goodwill loves me! Craigslist rocks! Finally cleared out the 3rd car garage and put the rail and quads in it :mic: now have a garage to put cars in! :ahhhhh:  Observation: If you have stuff for a garage sale for over a year, you ain't gonna have a garage sale! Observation2: Don't let sentimental value clutter your house. Sometimes sentimental crap is just crap! Observation3: I always manage to have a full pickup load for the dumps when we do a cleanup! (note to self----you still have too much crap!)
  9. what does the haynes manual say to do? the vehicles I deal with have a "button" on the tumbler bottom that comes out the housing. the key usually needs to be in the "on" position to push the button in and pull the tumbler out. then use a screwdriver to turn the ignition to off. sometimes have had to use a punch and hammer to tap on the button to persuade it to turn/release. Good luck!
  10. Friday put a frame/engine skid plate on the kfx700, cleaned the garage and prepared to take the hauler to storage after cleanup from Oregon dunes trip. Drank some JD watching the sharks wrap up round one series against the predators. Saturday, took hauler to storage, helped (watched) buddy pack bearings on his enclosed trailer. Picked up an old washing machine to tear apart and use the wash tub for a fire pit. They work great! Just finished shrimp fettucini, garlic bread and veggies. Gonna watch "Blood diamond" and play some poker. Sunday, sleep in. (yeah right) gotta organize some stuff for a garage sale. likely put some on craigs list and take the rest to goodwill to make room in the 3rd car garage for the buggy and quads so the car can go back into the normal garage. What a concept, actually putting a car in the garage! Got a tv in the garage so will likely have some sporting events on or play a dvd. Try to make the day last as long as possible because 4am monday will come too soon!
  11. Being in the minority of those who get to Dumont about 4 times a year, $30 is a good deal. Granted, we stay for an entire week each time. We would still go if the week pass was $60! For all we spend just to be comfortable and comfortably numb :smoker: while there, It is just another bottle of booze, 3-4 gallons of racing fuel, etc. Now, I feel for the folks who live nearby and only go 4-5 times a year, for a couple 1 week VA-CAs and the rest weekends. $30 seems like alot for a Sat/Sun. But I guarantee, when you are not at dumont, there will be weekends that you spend alot more than 30 bucks on entertainment! I know I do! We wish I could go twice a month. We would buy the pass in a heartbeat! We appreciate the opportunities we have to ride at Dumont. We will never let a few dollars come between us and our rides. We will also never let a shltty entry road stop me from riding either! (We are glad there is a start to improve it) Our truck and trailer both have Dumont scars. We bought them to have fun. Sure, I drop an F bomb at each ding or scratch, then take my frustrations out on the dunes! If the money is spent to keep Dumont an OHV area for years to come and the entry road stayed the same, I would not complain. My2cents

  13. We have an '04 Blaze'n 32' TT. Which is a Rage'n with extras. Had a roof leak at the front cap that the dealer could not fix that a 5 year old could. Fixed it myself, probably better than the dealer. (I am 5 years old!) Other than that have had lots of fun without problems. Have towed it up to Oregon dunes and down to dumont. I did replace the stock carlisle tires an one would have failed if I had not noticed it separated on an inspection. See another thread on Craplisle tires. Rage'n/Blaze'n were absorbed by Weekend Warrior but are still separate when it comes to Customer relations. I called WW about adding another spare winch to my trailer and was given the Rage'n number. Was happy with the phone service. Could not find the winch. May purchase from the selling dealer again. Will NOT go for service. As for Raptor, I have no experience. But I have seen a 5er at Dumont that had a K painted in front of the R in raptor on the ramp. They may have had problems! Good luck in your search!
  14. copied and pasted from an rv/battery forum: This is from an email I sent to Trojan battery in January. The question To: Technical@trojanbattery.com Subject: Golf cart battery Need you guys to help me out with a few questions. 1) Is there any advantage to using two 6 volt deep cycle batteries in series over two 12 volt deep cycle batteries in parallel in a RV application, and if so what are they. 2) Besides the number of cells what is difference in construction of a 6 volt golf cart battery like a T-105 and a 12 volt deep cycle battery. Of course in both cases I'm referring to Trojan batteries. (is there any other) Thanks Sam Langford The answer Hello Sam: The main advantage of using two 6 volt batteries connected in series is long life. They generally last about two times longer than 12 volt batteries. This is because 6 volt batteries have bigger and thicker plates that can better withstand the effects of deep cycling. The main advantage of using two 12 volt batteries connected in parallel is backup. If one battery goes down, you will have the other battery to keep your system running. With two 6 volts, if one goes down then your entire 12 volt system is down. In terms of capacity, if you get a couple of really good 12 volt, group 27 or higher, batteries then the runtime that you'll get out of the two systems is roughly the same. If you need further assistance, please contact me. Best regards, Jim Le Technical Support Engineer 800-423-6569 Ext. 301
  15. Yeah, you're right. My complaint is basically about the flag pole. I have never heard of a 9/32" pole. Only 1/4" and 5/16". I made mods to make it work. I will check diameters next time.
  16. We have a Blaze'n. I suppose the folding leg hardware is used throughout the industry. I have no other issues with the trailer. It seems the table is the only thing that I have to be careful with. We would put our portable tv on it because the normal cabinet spot is not viewer friendly. We now view tv and dvd through notebook computer, so the weight is alot less. If I get a chance to check out a WW table, I may get an idea. I may be too critical because I am used to a stable table (haha!) at home. Thanks for your input!
  17. I am tired of the folding dining table for the hauler being so flimsy. The tables I have outside are more stable. Anyone make an upgrade, repair, or replacement for this?
  18. When the vendors are at Dumont while we are there, we usually check out whats to be had as we leave. The wife wanted a specific flag for her quad. It was an extra 5 bucks for the flag mount. Having both 1/4 and 5/16 mounts, we figured we were covered. The flag she wanted came with a pole that was 9/32 in diameter. Too big for the 1/4 holder but too small for the 5/16. Put some O-rings on the pole to fit the 5/16 mount. Hopefully will survive. I will now check anything I buy at a vendor. I got "screwed at the drive-through" Anyone else have vendor issues?
  19. The Valero has never let me down! It is to their benefit to have the water and dump station up and running. They know how much $ they would lose if they could not provide the services. the time it takes to fill 120 gal tank, you go inside, buy ice, candy bars, stickers, stuff you forgot, pay $5 for dump/garbage privaledges, etc. So what if the water is shut off. I bet you could ask another business in baker to let you fill your tank. If you offered $20 to fill the tank, would it be worth it? It would to me. We pay more for bottled water than for gas (in convenience stores) think about it! I always carry about 30 gals of water in the tank for situations such as this. It will get me by for a couple days until I can find a fill location. Never had to do it though. If you live close enough where toting a full water tank won't affect your mpg too much than do it.
  20. http://tucson.craigslist.org/pts/294051361.html Dont know if a 97 wil fit an 03. I tried! 2002 FORD RANGER 3.0L, trans, rr end, drs, hood, etc., int, parting-out, $10-$500 818 908-0214 Mar. 14 Contact Information: Tel: 818 908-0214 I tried again! http://www.ranchofordtruck.com/ And again! http://www.usedfordautoparts.com/truck_parts_inquiry.html Once more! The last two links are in the Sacramento area. May be worth the drive if they have what you need. Good luck! http://www.automotix.net/partshotline-ford...r-requests.html I think I am done now!
  21. Actually I think its free to fill water tanks at the valero. $5 to use the dump station and the garbage. We always pay the $5 anyway wheather we dump or not. $5 for 120 gals of water? Cheap! Even if we dont dump. I have bypassed the valero leaving dumont because of lines or the dump tank and dumpsters are full. I have waited til I got home to dump the black/grey tanks. I hate searching for a dump station. I bet people fill and dump w/o paying. They do not police the rvs because they know the rvers are gonna go in and spend some $ anyway, so the $5 is probably a bonus. Let your conscience be your guide!
  22. Most stop at the valero. Water and dump station around back. $5 to dump tanks and trash. If you haven't got your ice yet, get it there. They are expensive, but thats what convienience is all about.
  23. There's 80 acres in baker for 150k. That would make a helluva storage lot! http://www.sharonroserealty.com/Listing/Vi...C&Cc=865336 (I just dont have the cash)
