Anyone going next week? I think we might be able to swing it! Blue Steel doesn't have to work the next AM and I'm coming home from Utah that day (for work).

I was pretty humiliated after that guy yelled at me and caused a scene! Yeah, she was super cool! It would have been a really bad experience if she hadn't helped!

Story of the Day (actually happened yesterday)..... I was flying Southwest out of Reno to Las Vegas. I was working on my laptop at the airport and listening in on some conference call. I realize my flight is getting ready to board, so I run over to the line and they started boarding. The guy from SW taking boarding passes tells me he has to check one of my bags because I'm only allowed 2 carry-ons. I apologize and tell him I forgot to put my laptop tote inside my luggage - I'll consolidate. I usually take day trips, so I wasn't thinking. As I'm waiting on the jetway in line to board the plane, I realize I didn't zip my bag up all the way, so I go to fix it. I realize I need my laptop for the trip so I'm deciding on how I'm going to consolidate my bags when MR A$$WIPE from SW comes out of nowhere, snakes my luggage and tells me he's going to check it. I follow him back up to the gate, explain what I was trying to do. I'm pretty mild mannered and never lost my cool. He starts yelling at me in front of all the other passengers and tells me that either my luggage gets checked OR I'm staying in Reno! Great customer service!!! :moon: So, I get on the plane, when the flight attendant sees I'm steamed and offers to help me. She listened to my complaint, made sure I still got a decent seat on the plane (I was an "A") and got his name so I could file a complaint (which I did today and got the flight attendant kudos for being so nice). I hate when these a$$wipes from the airlines think they're God.

Cute doggies! We had the "chance" to get 2 puppies when we got Bear, but just opted for one! Then ended up with Monkey a year later - crazy a$$ dog! All I have to say is TILE and HARD FLOORING RULES with pets!

Nothing exciting here! Just trying to get through my 100's of emails I got for work while I was on vacation! Customers complaining and wanting reports - whatever! I have to go to Reno tomorrow and Thursday. Fun fun fun!

That sounds like fun and it's my birthday weekend - BUT I'm coming home from Memphis that Friday night - BUMMER!!! We're for sure set to got for Halloween. Not sure what other weekends we're planning on heading to D. :hungry:

OMG - that's so sad! I'm glad we didn't buy a WW - and to think we came so close. More bad news - Cal's Boat & RV service dept is now closed! We took our Raptor to Utah last week (had a great time). The sides look great, but Keystone's factory didn't secure the underside on the right. So now we have a bend/dent on the lower right side. Keystone gave us a number of some local places to go for warranty work. Sucks!!! :hungry:

I'd keep him! Of course, I've been known to pick up a cat or 2 that probably belonged to someone!

Sounds like fun! Yeah, there are tons of fun places to hit in OC. We used to live down there. Newport & Huntington has some really cool bars!

We are seriously thinking of going out there. Originally, we were going to go to Temecula and hang with our friends and camp at some lake out there. What we might do is stay with our friends and go to the show (but Temecula is kind of far). Where are you all staying? When went to the OC last year, we stayed at the Ramada in Newport/Costa Mesa. We were walking distance from the Goat Hill Tavern, where they have over a 100 beers on tap.

OMG - Blue Steel is going to be so excited when I tell him about this. We were thinking of going to Cali that weekend, but we were going to camp in Temecula. This would be really fun in our old stompin' grounds - THE OC!!! Hey, I bet the beers will be $8

Ahhh... earthquakes! I forgot all about them - the good old days in California. I did feel an earthquake when I was in Reno a few months ago. I was in a high rise, too! :ah:

I hope everything is ok with Keystone. It sucks that Cal's Boat & RV is closing. Now WW going bk... this sucks!

I hope your friend finds a home for the cats. We have too many cats (yes, I will admit that), so we can't take them. Personally, I wouldn't date anyone that couldn't have cats. Blue Steel had a cat before I met him - perfect guy!!!
