I did see the episode. Those guys bug sometimes. I've only seen a couple shows, but in every one they can't get out of bed to ride because they're too hungover - what a bunch of losers! (not because they're hungover but because they're lazy)!!!

Neither showed any true leadership. I think we should resurrect Ronald Reagan or one of our more prominent presidents from the grave, stick them behind a podium and they'd show more leadership. I was completely bored watching the last debate - lots of issues, no solutions. The thing that scares me (besides the economy) is the greenie issue. Those people and their agendas are frightening! :ah: :ah: :ah:

Okay, I heard about the wooden arrows and the Rum runners, but this was a very interesting pork barrl project: "Creation of a seven-year cost recovery period for construction of a motorsports racetrack: Track owners currently follow a seven-year depreciation schedule and write each year's depreciation off their taxes. The IRS wanted to increase the depreciation timetable to 15 years, which would mean the track owner's depreciation would be cut in half. The measure in the keeps the seven-year depreciation schedule for two years and would cost taxpayers $100 million." Anyone know anything about this????

What I love most about the bailout is the $100 million in pork barrel projects! We need to limit the terms on the senators and congressmen. The politicians have had their pockets lined by lobbyists and special interest groups for too long! :worthless_without_pics:

I am so mad about this bail out! I bought my house on a conventional loan and pay my mortgage, car payments, insurance, etc etc etc.... When we bought our last house, we were asked about all these crazy subprime mortgages - NO THANKS! :?: When I moved to Vegas, I swore I wouldn't gamble - and that wasn't just in the casinos!

So, I was thinking - October 3rd??? Then I realized that it's the start of DUNE SEASON! Actually Oct. 2nd rocks - it's my birthday! Unfortunately, I'll be in Memphis for work.

Whew - gas didn't go up around here - hopefully prices stay stable here. Now - about Wall Street??? That's scary news!
