Comp at night has been pretty mellow, too. The crowds were really mellow on New Years Eve, but lots of cool fireworks! I know you'll all be disappointed that no stripper poles have been spotted yet!
-
Yes sirreee.... at bathroom #3!!! We have an internet card (Sprint)!
-
I think a better representation of the crowd is a picture taken today. Tuesday the 30th was really sparse, but more people came in the afternoon/evening of the 31st. Still not very crowded as previous years.
-
No wind last night - still choppy as he!! out here! Just took an Advil from being beat up from the chop yesterday! Still fun and not very crowded!

That is so funny! Blue Steel would probably try to stick it on a Monet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art!
-
It certainly makes a big difference to us, since we both have gas guzzlers!
-
Where was Secret Service? That was really odd. How can someone get away with doing that to our President? Makes me wonder.....

$2.19 at Rebel on Lake Mead in old Henderson! Yahoo! I can't believe gas is less than half of what it was a few months ago! Perfect for dune season!

I'm so excited - we're going to New York City to see my sister and niece for Christmas! We haven't been in NYC in years!!!! I can't wait!!! And then, we'll be back just in time to get the rig ready for Dumont New Years weekend!!! What's everyone got planned for the holiday?

I love Balboa Pizza! We've gone there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a great breakfast wrap and the pizza and salads are amazing! Panevino is cool - a bit pricey. Blue Martini at Town Square is cool and have a great happy hour every day from 4-7 pm (I think). Town Square is actually really cool to visit - and there's no gaming - even better). Cili's at Bali Hai Golf Club (South of the Strip) has great food for lunch only and overlooks the golf course. And it's better than Panevino! Lake Las Vegas has some nice places for Sunday Brunch. :xmas8:

Cool - that's the weekend we're going out! Should be fun!!!!

I don't have anyone to recommend because the cleaning lady we HAD barely spoke English and there was always some issue on what day she could come. Plus, I think she was allergic to animals and didn't want to come over - oh well! When we moved out of our old house, I hired someone to clean. Because they didn't have any furniture to clean, we only paid around $100-$150. Best money I ever spent. We also hired a carpet cleaning company. We were selling to friends of friends, so we wanted it to be nice. I was just grateful I didn't have to clean esp since it was middle of summer and 117 degrees outside!!!

Only been out on Halloween weekend so far this season (for a weekend trip). Anyway, Comp was pretty busy, esp the night it rained. I was really surprised we weren't the only crazy ones out there getting soaked! I didn't see anything out of the ordinary though.

So funny - guns sales are soaring right now - always happens when the Dems are going into office!

A new breed of R.V. ... very diffrent from the rest

Scary! :ah: :ah: :ah: -
We're not going! Have fun, though!

Diesel needs to keep coming down. It should be less than regular. All in all, it really helps the pocket book to have gas drop in price when you have a truck and SUV!
-
Looks like fun! Too bad Blue Steel had to work yesterday!

Between our camp and the one next to ours became a popular racing strip (near restroom 3). That was until someone lined cones between the 2 camps. When we were packing up, a handful of quads (about 5-6) race around 50 mph. Bluesteel walked it off - it was 7 feet from our toyhauler. Too bad we weren't tossing cones at that point in that area! :flatbiller:

Wow! Sorry to hear about the roll over and the effin thieves. Glad you're okay.
-
We should be there - as long as we can remember to keep time!!! :rhino:
-
We don't know if we're going to the event yet. We were lucky that Blue Steel got Halloween off, so it's up in the air if he get the day of the Poker Run off. If he does, it'll just be a day trip for us! :rhino:
-
I know - it's so great to have cheaper gas prices! Esp for us gas guzzlers!!!
-
I'm sorry to hear about your brother! That's cool that you took him on his last ride!

PACK IT IN - PACK IT OUT!!! :mischevious:
