I have Sand Stars. I'm just happy to have paddles, so I don't get stuck and have my hubby dig me out of the sand - with Chopjaw commentating on our "discussions" on it in the dunes!!! :stir: didn't mean to, but I just made the thread go to page #6!

We had major transmission problems with our first Dodge Ram 1500 (was a 1996). Of course, having a Navigator hit it and have the drive train fall on the ground in the accident sure didn't help! The truck was fixed. So pi$$ed - Mark got hit the very day we paid it off!! Stupid broad that hit us went to jail though for past warrants - for a whole weekend. About a year or so later, we went to California for a dog tournament. All of sudden, the truck couldn't go backwards. We drove home praying the whole way that the tranny didn't drop to the ground. Got rid of it and got me a Dodge Durango, then I ended up with a Tahoe! Funny thing, my mom was just telling me yesterday about her Durango and how the tranny's going out on it. I think Dodge has a bad rep for it. Mark's had 2 Rams since his 1st one, a 1500 and now a 2500 with no issues so far (knock on wood). I do like the Dodge Trucks, though. And Towbin Dodge has given us some good deals.

New York is such a fun city and has great food! You should try Katz's Deli. That's where they filmed the scene with Meg Ryan have her moment over the food in When Harry Met Sally. Great pastrami sandwiches! My sister lives in Manhattan near Ground Zero. That place is so cool!!!

The Clean Up should be interesting this year! Would these fall under most unusual items?

Yankee Stadium is so awesome! We took a ferry from Manhattan to a game in 2002. It was really cool! Awesome pics!

Ohter than Half Price Wednesday at PT's (which really isn't Happy Hour, since it starts at 8 pm). Where are some places that have some good deals or are really fun to go and hang out??? We've already discovered the Blue Martini (which runs half price specials from 4-7 daily). Just don't drink too many martinis - Claim Jumper has some good deals (I think until 7 pm) on food and appetizers in the bar Chili's happy hour sucks! It's like buy 2 for the price of 1 on beer and margaritas - but they have to bring them to you at the same time! Stupid! We went to Timbers, but they have this strange happy hour from 3-6 pm. Anyway, just wondering what you all have discovered here in town!

It is HOT! Can't wait to come home and have a cold drink!! Parking in the shade is the BEST!
