  1. We at the shop here also have our shop kits that seem quite popular, here's a YFZ with one on. Just a suggestion anyways
  2. I used to be the parts manager YEARS ago at Carters (when it was old Desert Motorsports on Trop) , and I'll say honestly, they really are a great bunch of folks there, especially Dan the Parts Manager now, and Rich and Sal the sales managers, all really good guys. Nevada Suzuki has Tom, one of the nicest and knowledgable guys around on dem der Zukes, and carries more parts in stock for them than any other dealer I've seen.
  3. Desert Only Yamaha was bought by the AZ group in Aug/Sep of 2000. They do own all of the OEM's for Japanese EXCEPT Carters and Nevada Suzuki (GREAT place) The monpoly law doesnt apply because the Ride Now group puts each dealer in one of the other owners names. They own most of the shops in Phoenix, and started out basically because they owned alot of auto dealers and wanted to branch out to motorcycles as well, so yes, really they are car dealers. They accumulate dealers not by service, but by buying them for 4 times what theyre worth and taking over cities.
  4. In the movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" , in the magic shop what did he already have some of?
  5. Hey this guy could go UPHILL at 100mph, he shoulda had this one!
  6. WOW! WOOOOHOOO KEN! Yep the avatar is from the 1932 Movie "Freaks" You win a cookie!
  7. Yeah she's pretty hot huh ... :mischevious:
  8. Oops sorry... I dont use theirs, I bring my own :mischevious:
  9. Actuallt, the Yamaha Tri Moto 125 would win it all!!!!!!
  10. They've hit it on the head. Change your paddles without going too much into the motor along with dropping a tooth in the front. The V paddles are great for playing in the dunes, while the straight cuts are better for hill shooting. You'll grab a few bikes lengths just by changing paddles. Stay with the Extremes though if you go Skat Trak because its a reinforced paddle, the Haulers are rated for smaller cc bikes and will cavitate under bigger bore machines.
  11. I avoid WalMart at all costs, unless I need something :mischevious: As for the teachers and the money thing.... Theres two different approaches towards it. Alot of us feel that a job that gets 2+months vacation a year doesnt really deserve a giant annual salary. Cripes, these kids get a week off of school if its "National Pencil Day" it seems like. BUT... I've seen what teachers go through. I'd like cameras installed inside every classroom. NOT to watch teachers, but to show parents how they're precious little "angels" really behave when they're there. These kids have this "You can't touch me or say boo to me" attitudes that lets them get away with murder. It doesnt matter anymore how much money you throw at the problem, because no amount will make the parents take action in their childrens lives and take the responsibility of raising their kids instead of pointing the finger and hoping society will instill moral values. Hell yeah the teachers deserve a raise, just for putting up with the crap they go through.
  12. I shoved my pinky finger so far up my nose that I poked my brain and my left leg started kickin all wildlike. Sweet.
  13. Dude... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :freakin_nuts:
  14. It really goes both ways. There's alot of "american made" vehicles NOT built in the US. Ford has quite a few plants in Mexico, and the Japanese have more than a few in the US. Hell, even Hardly Ableson's that roll of the line today are usually between 60-85% Japanese.
  15. Kind of funny actually. You could ask 100 people and get 100 different opinions on oil. 927 is good oil, but yes it does gum up powervalves, hence the reason Maxima also sells PVC (Power Valve Cleaner) Oil preference is regional as well. In the midwest it was Golden Spectro/ Klotz / Redline / Torqo, and people never ran any Maxima products. Heck, we were one of the largest dealerships in the midwest and rarley sold Yamalube 2R and we were a Yamaha dealer
  16. Here's a thought, lets sue the Sierra club for making us sit in traffic causing more pollution, giving us high blood pressure and causing us physical harm, and suck every penny they have out of em so they shut their stupid yaps for once. Its rather ridiculous when it costs me over 20 dollars to fill the tank on my street bike. Oh yeah, and FREE OJ!
  17. If you've gone as far to do the cheetahs and stroker, spend the extra money and get the Penton Racing PVL ignition, its a night and day difference over anything else out there.
  18. Cant expect too much from a French-Canadian Frog who screws her Great Grandpa. :worthless_without_pics:
  19. Its being blown out of proportion because its him. And he was found not guilty, regardless of what we all believe. On a side note....If I saw my exwife's new boyfriend driving my car past and them flaunting my money in front of me, I'd cut both their heads off too.
  20. I say go to your front picture window, drop your drawers, bend over and give him a nice pressed ham. Or shoot him.
