Got all kinds of freebies in the mail from the "new" Southpoint Hotel. It's changed hands and is owned by the guy that owns the El Cortez. The El Cortez was fun at times with it's 50 cent craps, free rooms to non regulars, $1.00 black jack, easy free drinks, the gravely voiced old ladies in the cocktail dresses calling ya sugar,,, still OK but the seedyness displaces the tighter rules. He also owns the Las Vegas Club on Fremont street that is my favorite card place. What did the South Point used to be?? The South Coast? Did it go boobs up? What happened or no bfd just an ownership change. :freakin_nuts:

I've never been there, and would never take the wife there but a roomate I had years ago did go there alot. He took his hermophrodite girlfriend there. They were both very good looking and couldn't get enough. He called the chair the Freestyle chair that all couples participated together with. Note that it's shop worn.

It's couples only, no male gay sex allowed, ffm encouraged, mmf encouraged, fff encouraged, fffm encouraged,, ffdf encouraged (figure that one out).

Any recomendations for a good, yet cheap host? Any suggestions? Someone on the ball, and not a lot of $$ Thanks.

The Zuki / Kawi joint development is over. But,, I smell KTM in on development on this new ride. The best price Kawai dealer I've ever found is Kawa of Simi Valley. John the owner says March is the earliest they expect deliveries.

We were in Parker, and sons girlfriends mom pulled into our campsite after buying her new Ford that morning. She later put in the key in the ignition to then go to the store and no movement when in gear. The trans was toast with 305 miles on it. Argued with Ford for 3 weeks, then they replaced it. Must be something to the Allison. The new 6 speed Allison is a joint Ford/GM joint development venture according to Automotive Engineer magazine. Trouble is, the Ford Allison is only available on the Ford 550 and up. The Ford HD trans only avail with diesel. Japan 3/4 and one ton trucks will be washing ashore soon and they all have Allisons, or the murderously bullet proof & brutal Borg Warner equiv trans. The Ford vs GM/Chevy arguments may soon end if the big three don't all start building more durable trucks. It'll be 1 ton Mitsubushi vs 1 ton Nissan vs Toyota 1 ton owners arguing. Allison for this family, we ain't spending our vacation at the lysol & beer & urine smelling Motel Hell in Hinckly drinking Keystone lite, eating Bun Boys bread burgers, waiting for the trans to be replaced. Allisons are da finest kine driveline. Our GMC owners manual says it will go 200K miles, and we will do just that. Hope, and (believe) that your new tranny will hold up well. I'm sure it will. Ford has seen the lite, and it's a rising sun color coming from truck factories in Japan. So you are good to go.

They've been draggin it and grading it, but the river crossing was widened without extending the concrete, so cross the river with care, stay on the concrete.

How many paddles should I order?
Ross and Alice replied to Ross and Alice's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
Yeap, ordered them from Fullerton last week, but haven't heard back yet. They recomended the scat traks over the Sand Stars., on Douglas Blue Star aluminum rims. -
I don't have the fastest YFZ, but adding a piston and sleve and a few other expensive mods doesn't seem to give you a whole lot more. The farther from stock the less reliable ya are, and just gaining another 1/2 quad length at comp doesn't seem worth it all. We were racing each other all afternoon until a guy showed up on a Bombardier 650 with a turbocharged snomobile motor and beat everything out there by several lengths. I take that back, my son just corrected me, he beat everyone by half a dune length. He never shifted outta first gear either. No matter how fast ya are, theirs someone way way faster.

If you ever talk to anyone that has in the past or is running a rental biz for like PWC's or other toys,, they'll tell you people rent 'um and wreck 'um. A bix like that has to be far more headaches than it's worth. Unless ya make the bigh cash on repairs charged to the renter.

Yep all the above, and keep it clean. Dune RV heaters get loaded up with dust. 3/8" gap between ignitor and pilot.

How many paddles should I order?
Ross and Alice replied to Ross and Alice's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
On the z50 Exciters made a noticable difference, especially on the Speary creak trail run. The one grade to the railroad right of way the z50 with knobbies needed to be pushed, when he came back running his paddles no problem. -
I understand most the 450's have the hardly any skirt and rings pistons that made need replaceing from time to time How do you know when? Is it piston and rings only, say in a YFZ, or is their more that needs replacing too?

I year back order, and were quoted $166.00 delivered to Simi, Ca., but we've been waiting a year and still on back order. They have no wheels for any kids quads, and one tire. Thanks though, We usually start with them. Dirst addictions want all kinds of paperwork before they'll orderanything, no idea of ther back order,,, Hummmmmm,,,,, Sill looking, -
