  1. That's awesome news Lee. Hell yeah. If I get my lens before that race I'd love to come shoot with you if that's possible. Otherwise I'm gonna try and make it out there anyways. So what's it called now? LOORR?
  2. THAT'S BADASS! Man I'd love to check the dunes out from a view like that. I love the pics. Thanks for sharin! How long of a flight was it to get there?
  3. Yeah we weren't too impressed with the Strat either when we stayed there for New Years, but it was a room on the strip for a decent price so we couldn't b*tch. (it was a place to sleep and we didn't have to chance a DUI) Besides, we had the tickets for the party at the top which was kickazz. I've been in the double down a couple times now. Hated it every time. People try to get in a fight with you "just cause". Makes no sense to me. I know that place is known for that, but wtf. Reminded me of that Hogs & Heffers chithole.
  4. 29 psi of boost? Talk to Capt about running your motor like that. :freakin_nuts:
  5. i think it took us about 6 hrs towing the hauler
  6. I understand that, but this sounds like a HUGE pain the azz for him in order to make a few bucks and I don't know if he understands that. :freakin_nuts:
  7. well it should defintley sell now. It didn't sell at 1200, but 2500!? Holy chit I'll take it! Crazy deal right there! :freakin_nuts: sorry
  8. Tim you probably shouldn't get everyone all pumped up about these things unless you are ready to deal with everyone and their mom (who usually don't have fluid cash) that wants a kickazz deal on these toys. I'm just saying, no need in posting all this unless you know what you are getting yourself into and are gonna try to help everyone find a certain kind of truck, rig, quad, etc. lol Know what I'm sayin?
  9. From my experience of Little Sahara, it's fun with sand cars (even big ones)...but it seems like more of a place for bikes and side x sides since there are so many trails and steep hills. I had fun in my car, but to tell you the truth I was almost sacred to death of breaking down back behind Sand Mountain. I couldn't even imagine trying to tow a broken sand car around or up that hill, especially a big car. I heard there's an easier way to get back to camp from back there, but it's pretty far. LS reminds me of Coral Pink but WAY bigger and larger hills and dunes. That place rocks. I can't wait to burn through a ton of gas up there next trip. This time we'll probably be with some peeps who would like to dune all damn day long so it should be a blast. :freakin_nuts:
  10. Jack you should do Coral and LS with us this summer. You know you are always invited, bud. :freakin_nuts:
  11. FYI, its not his trailer. He works for Eclipse RV
  12. Of course we are all concerned. What do you suggest we as duners do in the meantime to make any REAL impact?
  13. yep but only certain DDR members are allowed to get wood there. That place is top secret.
  14. until
  15. April 12 http://www.dumontduneriders.com/events.html
  16. next year's 70 regatta is lookin bigger and bigger already
  17. Do you mean Vegas in general or the Strat?
  18. ahh whateva...I'm sure if it were a problem we could build a bridge via paypal donations alone. I bet we could get the DDR midget that runs the water valve for the river to even turn it off while construction is being done.
  19. let's see...24 million dollar plane...wounded eyeball........I doubt it!
  20. Hell yeah Greg. ABSOLUTLEY! Let me know when you are planning a trip. We are gonna do one this summer sometime as well. That place rocks especially for bikes! I can't wait to get back up there. We went for our first time back on Memorial weekend 08 and it was quite an experience. dunes go forever...WAY farther than D Sitting on top of those huge dunes lookin out across the valley is breath taking cool azz steep trails typical holiday camp situation at the base of sand mountain
