  1. Please post one pic now. and please limit posts in this thread to picture entries only. Thanks. The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. Post a subtitle or description that you may want included on the homepage with your pic if yours wins. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. Let's just try and be honest about it. (We aren't gonna get that serious about this anyways) 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. The picture must abide by the terms and conditions (rules) of this board. 5. Post only ONE picture per contest. The picture can be anything DUNE related. It can be a nice sunset, a wheeling sandrail, your favorite still shot of your bike, rail, truck, camp, friends, rv, etc. As long as it has to do with the dunes, let's see it.
  2. Thats an old one. I have seen it before except it was a different porn pic at the end. I knew it wasn't for real as soon as a typed in the land line number for information in Nevada.
  3. Did you highlight his post and read his hidden message? Fuggin cheesy azz cheeseboy.
  4. 1. I put a set of super badass mud tires on my Grizzly and it seemed to slow it down in the sand a bit. For a quad like that, a set of paddles is best. 2. yep, what brit said. You only need a paddle for the rear. You can still have fun on a knobbie, but it's kind of a waste of time and hard on your bike. 3. Feb hot? no way. It's perfect weather around that time. Check the average temps on the weather websites for Tecopa or Shoshone, CA. I think it's in the high 70's or low 80's in Feb for the high temps.
  5. Hey Danielle. Congrats on the move and good luck. Sounds like everything is working out for you guys.
  6. Have you looked at your avatar lately? You're the one with the sheep in heels! hahaaaa
  7. The weather source has just been updated on the weather page. That weatherforyou site never seemed accurate. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/dumont_dunes_weather.html Seems like it will be just fine out there.
  8. damn! Actually 20"! I had to check it out. http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_0...0001P?adCell=A3
  9. amazing this place is even in business. Seems EVERYONE has had a bad experience w/ them (includiong myself)
  10. ahhhh okaaaay. I didn't know you could drag that thing around. Sweet! Now I'm over it. I'll have to mess around with that one day when I have more time and am bored as hell. Seems pretty cool.
  11. Did you think the llama was hot? I wonder if you jumped on that llama, you could ride it through the dunes? sorry :clown: I heard the helicopter(s) were filming some sandrails. Not sure what for though.
  12. It's not a huge increase by any means, but it's better. It is a 25% gain from stock. I read somewhere that it's 40 amps. MORE..how bout that? That alone sounded cool to me and had me sold. The stock Busa charging system flat out sucks.
  13. wtf? They just want a drunk guy to hang out with them? Why wingnut, cheesy?
  14. glamis??? lol yeah right, not at least until Feb I bet.
  15. SO sad ALMOST made it... Props the the pilot for trying to save it and waiting until the last second to eject. more here... http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/2...bn08plane5.html I feel sorry for the family of the victims.
  16. Damn! Sweet ride. Congrats Nick. That's a much nicer ride than what I had at your age. lol
  17. Stock Chevy's can already handle anything thrown at em so there's really no need for a model like this. Here comes the pic of my truck stuck right?.... Seriously though, have have put my trucks through some chit in the past and they have held up suprisingly well. Ask Steveo and Tommy down the street. lol
  18. Finally got my stuff today! It was like an early Christmas present to myself. About 300 bucks later I've got a new high output stator, HD rectifier and new custom harness with all new connectors! I got it all on the car tonight and everything worked great. I turned every single load device on at idle like the fans and all the lights. The red charge light only came on for a second, then went off and the new stator was able to handle it at idle. Nice I'll see how it holds up next trip out. I'm stoked. I should have repainted the cover but oh well eh. Now I just gotta clean this mess up a and wash this badboy. It's filthy from poker run weekend.
  19. alright Brandon. Can we all just let this die?
  20. :ah: Oh god are you kidding me? She'll even admit that's a BAD idea. hahaaa It's not the grilling I can't handle, it's everything before and after that I eff up. Grill maintenance and transportation is NOT my thing evidentally.
