  1. Seems the Glamis rangers/ cops are always look for something even if you are obeying all the rules. Can't stand that about Glamis. You can never relax and enjoy the place.
  2. Here's a little more info on the mines and how to get there. It's not a very long ride, but it is well worth it if you've never been.
  3. Where are you located? Vegas? It doesn't say in your profile. That's messed up about the pay station. I don't understand what people get out of destroying property.
  4. This isn't new for the state of California. They have always required a campfire permit on forest lands. This permit is not required at Dumont Dunes.
  5. We decided against using the shoutbox because of a couple reasons. 1) compatibility with the new software, and 2) not many people would use it anymore. It would be days, sometimes weeks since anyone shouted anything. So we scrapped it.
  6. Oh I didn't realize there were two trailers for sale. haha Yes that would remove the ad. You can edit your original post. Just click the edit button at the bottom of that post.
  7. HA! Classic. And no way would I ever do that.
  8. Looks great out there. Heck yeah! Thanks for the update.
  9. It should as long as it's mounted in a way so it doesn't rattle.
  10. Please click the "Mark As Sold" button (top right of the ad) to remove the ad. Thanks
  11. Hi Dalia, welcome to the site. There are no services at Dumont. Browse the INFO tab at the top of the site and you will find some helpful info about Dumont. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/services/ The closest water is Baker. I would just fill up at home and find a dump station after you leave. Either Tecopa or Baker has them. Next, Halloween Weekend isn't really an event per say. It's just a busy holiday weekend where everyone goes out and rides the dunes, camps, etc. Comp Hill gets busy at night. It's worth checking out. People used to race up the hill, but now it's pretty much a party with LED lights and people drinking. Make sure you read up on the rules out there and keep your head on a swivel. It can get chaotic at times, but it's not that bad.
  12. 1) Usually Halloween is still shorts and t-short weather at night, but it may get cool. Follow the forecast here, http://www.dumontduneriders.com/weather/ 2) Yes, Trick or treating is Saturday night starting shortly after sun-down. It usually goes until 9 or so. 3) There are pit toilets throughout the camp area. No running water. 4) Yes, generators are allowed whether you have an RV or not. Just be respectful of your neighbors.
