I know I know. The story behind the topic was this though... 2 people on the board got into it about there trucks one time. Ya know how it goes....a typical Ford vs Chevy arguement. In this case it was an old azz Dodge vs everyone else's rides. Whatever thread it got started in, it became WAY off topic. Hence the reason this thread was started. I started it for all the truck sh*t talkers, not really because I wanted to talk any smack. In topic it says "who wants to argue about whose truck is better?, lol" Then my first post says..."Not me! " It's all good, Bob. :mc_smiley: Good times...good times :mc_smiley:

I just like the feeling cruising over the whoops 5th gear pinned on the bike. That's all I was saying, then he chimed in with saying I needed to "learn how to ride my quad better if I want a rush". I have taken a liking to a quad almost more lately anyways. I have to be in a certain mood and feel just right to wanna go tear it up on the 2 wheeler. But when I do, I have a blast. Last trip out I brought my dirtbike, quad, and sandrail. I took the dirtbike out ONE time the last day of the trip. Go figure

The injectors on a Duramax haven't been under the valve covers since 03. The newer (04 and up) DMaxes are through the top of the v.c. As far as price to service these things, any diesel is expensive to service. Dmaxes HAVE had their issues with injectors in teh past and probably will still have SOME issues in the future as with ANY diesel or motor for that matter. My "Jap diesel" hauls this b*tch with ease and a nice ride too thanks to my IFS. I love my truck and don't feel the need to talk any smack.

I only stated that I doubt you could hang with me on a ride in the dunes because you criticized my riding abilities and you don't even know me. Well last night we tried the bic pen trick...and no luck. The pen tube isn't even the same size as the center of the lock. Hopefully this means it can't be picked that way.

Sounds good, Bob. I am not much into the tricks, but I always love a nice smooth, fast dune ride anyday. Have him meet up with us on one of our group rides. We usually post up a time and place to meet.
