Sounds like an excellent opportunity, BUT... remember friends and certain things in life can't be replaced with money. It's entirely up to you though, Nick. If I got offerred almost double my salary, it would be a tough decision, but I think I would still stay in Vegas. I love this place. No place else compares to here for me. I have met awesome people, there's always something going on, and there's a million things to do here. Besides, where are you gonna go in CA for a wounded dolphin at 2AM? OK...OK... back to the subject at hand here. Look at it this way, Nick. I understand that it's an excellent opportunity and you really wanna jump at it. If you want to do it bad enough, then you will. I have always told myself that if in 2 days or so if I am still REALLY thinking hard about if I should do something or not, then the answer is no. That's just me though. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. You'll have friends to back your decision either way.

I posted these under the MLK trip thread a while back, but I figured what the heck...they belong here too...

Well as some of you might know...2nd gear has gone south in my sandrail. It has gone from chattering to finally popping out of gear completely when under hard accel. I have heard that 2nd gear is the weakest point of a Hayabusa. Go figure. It's not that 2nd gear is used a bunch while driving (I mainly use 4-5th), but it DOES get pretty hammered on when hill shooting or when trying to get momentum when you start on a steep hill. So now I am crossing my fingers that parts will be available. I have been told that there is a national shortage for Busa trans parts right now. Not good...considering the clean-up weekend is in about two weeks! I really hope to have my car out on that weekend. The motor/ trans assembly is going over to Scott @ Heads Up performance tomorrow AM. Wish me luck pulling the motor today.. Hard to imagine this little thing makes almost 200 horse

derrrrr Read my post.. I was planning on doing a day trip already Tacomama is probably going too...so I'll drive the crewcab. I am bringing the Raptor anyways, so the 1/4 ton won't cut it.

I might make it out for the day Saturday- I've got plans Sat night and Fri night so far. I'd like to do a day though.

It doesn't have the whining gears anymore....he got new ones....nice and quiet now.
