Me and the family headed out to SF over the weekend since my wife had never been there i said let's do it since the truck is out of comission she was in luck or we would be in the dunes. LEft Friday morning and got there at about 11:00 and started to check things out after we checked into the hotel on Market street (worse then downtown L.A) but the hotel was nice and was a nice stay. We ended the day early from being so tired trying to get thru this town and started saturday early with a ride in the rail system there which took us to Fisherman's Wharf and from there we took the kid's to the Aquarium and a boat cruise. Had a few run ins with some intresting people saturday and i guarantee this town gives NY and LA a run for it's money in the wierdo department. The bums are very agressive people and that's how my argument and almost a$$ beating for this one tranny turned sour in a few minutes, me giving him all my trolly change wasent good enoough for him he wanted me to buy him a meal also..with the kids around i got very upset and got in his face and he changed his mind pretty quick. The city is nice in other places but getting around to me is a pain in the A$$, i will take l.A traffic anyday. The weather was good and the place is very historic and very old and it was actuelly a good trip overall.My wife was introduced into the life of crime when she was a witness to a pick pocket in progress and i think she was ready to go home at that point. A little bumed i had to miss the sand especially seeing all those damm trailer headed to pismo and where ever else there is to riding up north. Got home safe and everybody had a great time... We are already prepping for the rains, another problem but we are looking into it since it's a down hill slope for everyone..

Some pics from the fire!! These are from my house and down the street, alot of acres burned and the hills brush are completly gone, looks like the moon.. the first one brings tears to my eyes and makes me proud to be an AMERICAN!!!

Still today I cant explain the feeling that goes thru the body when they pass by you, you not only hear it you feel it and i think my heart stopped till they passed.... I cant believe i waited so long to go to one of these...

I live in Sylmar and the fire started at about 10:30 Friday night. I live about 50 Feet from where it started and i stay 1 block over from Sayre st. I cant explain the feeling you get when you walk out and there is 50ft flames at your window. The wind was a mess and i have lived there for 30 years and knew when i seen this fire it was a serious issue. We stayed up till 5 in the morning batteling the neighborhoods small spot fires that started because people left so quick with out watering down the front. I am one of those people who will stay till the very end to save my house which i did and i can tell you that i deffinetly saved it from going up on a few different ocassions. We lost a couple homes on the block above us and the 500+ mobile homes a mile to the left of me. I would have taken pics but there was no time for that since i was a part time firefighter. IF it wasent for the neighbores who stayed to save the houses i think it would have been alot worse. They say a garden hose wont work but they sure worked Great putting out spot fires and embers from starting your house on fire. Something i hope nobody has to go thru and want to send a prayer out to all people in SO Cal who went thru the various fires in california and hope they are all OK .. A Big thanks to all the different agencies wh fought this fire becasue they did a great job for sure!

I went to the finals this weekend, suday race and had pit passes to the Army team and driver tony shuchmaker(Sp?) and when we pull up they are working on the car right next to us which is awsome , they served food and drinks and had some shade, Hot as Hell.. YOU HAVE TO HEAR THE BAD a$$ ROAR THESE CARS MAKE !! that sh*t is so loud and the 2 cars running down the track is a feeling i cant explain unless you have been there. They start up in the pits and they all do rebuilds after every race, takes them about 30 minuts for a full tear down and replacement of all internal parts, than when they start them the nitro or whatever they are burning is like mase bro, sh*t burns your eyes and throat. some of the speeds is about 320 for the Top fuel and i have some vid of a pass. this is something i would reccomend to checking out once and you will not regret it..

there will be one that was made into a hill shooter at the FSA race this weekend at Dumont, check it out at banshee hill...

Where are you looking for the weather? On the front page it said chance of rain and chance of rain & snow on sunday? IS that the right area i am looking at?

I will see you guy's friday night, I will be in a lifted dodge ram truck(grey) and rolling around in a red jeep wrangler with a skull & bones flag, showing my buddy around Dumont since he has never been. We will be mostly at the drag races at banshee hill but will deff. take the kids on the poker run, I dont even know how to play poker..

TTT who is making out to the dunes this weekend. The FSA race will be on saturday, they will have banshee hill taped off so you can see some of the fastest 4-strokes in the country run the hill... If you think your 4-stroke is fast come find out, even if your not racing the side hill comp is a hoot..

It'a a great all around bike for the dunes and the hill, it may mess with some pretty stock bikes on the hill but it will be tuff to beat anything with some engine work. Unles you can rife like the wind and weigh 100lbz. I think if you take the cork out of the pipe and open up the airbox it ill run with alot of bikes bilt or not.. Congrats on the bike...

How about they take and not anounce it to the world!! Not everyone needs to know and just talk to them face to face.

I have stopped on 2 diferent occasions to pick up the bags when they are on the side of the road, not a big deal just a big mess if someone hits the bag and throws the trash all over the place..

This is why i swore not to vote again, because the plan we were promised never happend. Right now we need something to happen and this place has to change or we are all screwed. I just dont get how so many people swear there are not that many problems going on or things are not that serious. I wish i lived where you did or had the job you do so i wouldent worry so much about my future and my kids future. Let's just hope the promises he is making can and will happen, but you know they voice there opinion now and are like puppets on a string when they are elected to make everyone happy.. :B CHANGE for 08 LOL

Great idea buddy..I am sure they would be there in there next lifetime waiting for the goverment to take care of them . Even though the Gov is doing a great job helping them you still need the little things to stay out in the D the whole season. Pete even get a checklist from them and maybe we can round up some supplies for them and instead of us going over there at once we can swing buy and bring it to them since we are all out there at different times of the year. The more usefull supplies the better for them...

I dont know if it's because i like Dumont so much or if they are really bitching that much, I mean i see some stuff there that will send there a$$ flying for sure but i think they are looking for the perfect jump and may not find what they are looking for. Sounds like they wont be back.
