  1. to my knowledge the trail has always been open. if there is a gaurd at the turnoff, you have to tell him that you are hiking and NICELY request access... other than that I wouldnt know, thats all I did the last time I went there (last spring)
  2. you could hike down to the colorado river.... either from the ringbolt rapids side or the black canyon side... its really nice this time of year, and there are hot springs at the bottom! =) Heres a link to the Black Canyon parking area http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=U...mp;t=h&z=19
  3. I have also heard bad things of them lately.... I hope they can get it turned around and back online.
  4. I just made the switch to verizion also... they are the only carrier that works in central and northern Nv. and we used our Verizion air card from Vegas to Murietta, Ca (SP) and only lost signal once on Baker pass, but that was it.
  5. So sorry to hear about your truck! the new chevrolets are nororiously easy to get into without having jimmijammers installed. On a side note, check Kingman Az. there have been alot of Vegas trucks showing up stripped down there
  6. for those looking heres some suggestions for paints that are a close match to OEM honda red Rustoleum -Sunrise Red Duplicolor touch up- Flash Red
  7. I believe since you are registered in UT. you have reciprocity for CA. you would just need to buy the park pass. No need for the Non Res. registration like us Nevadans
  8. The only overalls I have ever owned were carharrt brown.... that aint me in the picture
  9. Your head cover is awful close to the fender, are you sure that the back bone isn't tweaked a little? When you pull the tank and the seats off you should be able to lay a straight edge across it and check for true. If it is bent, straightening will not only improve the looks, but the handling characteristics as well. should yours or any one elses be bent heres a couple of pics.... courtesy of 3wheeler.org on methods of straighteing them back into shape.
  10. you might find these interesting http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/Brochures/ATCsite/
  11. this thing needs mini paddles and front runners
  12. how good is this light for peripheral vision?
  13. this is true... but ... I have seen lots of lights on the front of 70s... so I know someone on here has to have one!
  14. I have two problems with that.... I dont currently own a 70 to try it with, and I am trying to get around the cell. you guys with the Estart Lifans on your 70s wont have any issues, but my idea is for ALL 70s stock or not
  15. Alright for those of you that have these lights I have a question.... would someone try to fire them with a ATC 70. I have an idea but I am not sure it will pan out, and the 70 being able to run them is the key. I think that at a rev the light will fire , you just need to keep the revs up till the like is up to temp. and then you should be able to let off the throttle. should this experiment work, I will take my idea further! thanks for the help!
  16. NICE RABILANCE!!! or is it a RABICHERO?
  17. 3wheeler.org!!!! thats what I am talking about! oh, and a little note, if you decide to run larger rims and tires, you may need to fab up some spacers to raise the rear fenders for clearance, there is a thread about this on .org in the 70's section. along with alot of other helpful information.
  18. ATC 200x hubs fit also... that will give you the 4/110 pattern
  19. sorry did'nt see anywhere that the submissions were closed.
  20. I agree... the 3fidyX is my style!.... that 87 200x isnt too shabby either!... good score on the 70s though they arent my speed, but I love what can be done with em! especially the threelink rearends they are doing now... SAWHEEET!
  21. I did a HID conversion to my solteks, I wired a 10g. hot and Neg through a 40amp relay and a maxifuse... I have more than enough wire in my harness. and I am using a HI/LOW foot switch out of a older ford truck to fire the relay. see the pics below
  22. I too run their 50w kit in my Solteks.... but I am having some problems with one light firing, and have to turn them off and then back on again quickly to get it to ignite... I guess you get what you pay for
  23. you can do it with a compressor... just becareful... it doesnt take too much pressure, I would apply the cap and add air to the petcock opening... take a measurement across the bottom of the tank and record the width, if you have too much pressure you can increase the gap in the tank kinda like opening a clam shell up. and you will have to beat the spine of the tank in to close the gap again. ( I know this from experience)
