thinking about making a early A.M. trip tomorow, talked with ISBB, and another buddy of mine, got their gears turnin, anyone else got nothin better to do on a saturday mornin, it supposed to be breezy, but only a high of 86, so should be able to get some good time in during the morning

went in early friday, very small gathering, but the wife and is will both be going back at 12 on sunday for about five hours each

bummer...oh well.....i got the folks in town for a visit, and my buddy that was gonna head out with me is going to be in chicago that weekend. the 13th was perfect, oh well guess i will head to the water instead of the sand

real nice stuff Pete, looks like you guys had a blast! next time you go take the alcatraz tour at night....its a whole different experience, plus it is usually less crowded. it gets a whole new creepy feeling at night, its pretty cool. looks like the bay to breakers was pretty "tame" unless your holding out! haha. i need to make a trip up that way..... i think the last time i was there was like 05 damn. good times good times

just a shot in the dark but try opening the valve real slow, instead of just cranking it open. this happend to me a couple of times and it happened to smokin al at the regatta. there is a flow check valve type deal in the regulator, and it sometimes activates when the gas flows through the line. basically all your burners will look like they are on low even when they are on hi, if its restricted.

nice!...i do the same too, got pulled by a bike cop here in vegas a few months ago, going down eastern near D.I. and he lit me up so i turn on my flashers and made my way across the lanes, slowed down and motioned that i was going to turn and get off the busy street, i saw him nod his head, ok. turn onto a side street and shut the truck off and rolled the windows down, one arm on the door, one hand on the wheel, i guess it made him comfortable because when he walked up he talked to me like we were old friends, "hey how ya doin" kinda thing, he told me i was runnin about 10 over and that he couldnt clearly see my temporary registration through my window. he checked it out and said everything was good and to have a good day, and to watch my speed around there because the were doing extra traffic enforcement in that area. couldnt have gone any better!

great weekend got in friday morning, posted up about a hundrd yards south of #5, weather was great! had a great weekend, got some good rides in. made a quik video, mostly hero cam stuff, a couple of pics. i didnt proof read very well so nevermind some missing letters! randy, great 70 vid!, i had the 70 with me but never put the damn camera on it, oh well. that crash was great! i have a video that ends with me breaking my camera mount, then i spent 5 minutes thinking my camera was in the sand somewhere, until i found it sitting by my front bumper mount, damn thing never made it to the ground, i thought i ran it over and buried it! http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n127/jj...t32709_0001.flv
