Okay, Wal-mart is a multi billion dollar company. You would think they could get some carts that don't make the sound of a 9mm hand gun every time the wheel turns. For fks sake, there isn't one single cart in there that you don't have to physically manhandle just to keep it going straight. Hell, I saw a stray sitting in the ailse, so I figure I would swap my POS out for that one, yeah I did and it was worse than the one I had. My Mother signed my military papers when I was 17 and still in highschool. They will take care of the diploma. If that's not an option, then take the vehicle away. So I went into his room, while he sat there and watched and I took everything out of his room except his clothes and the bed. I even took the bed frame. That opened his eyes to a lot of things. Don't give up on your kids. They are, afterall, your children. The military will straighten his a$$ right up. But push for the Marine Corp. Get in good with the recruiter and let him know what's been going on and see if he will ship him out to Paris Island for boot camp during the summer months. But your ideas are spot on! No child runs the house, it's our house and they just sleep there. You are the king of the castle and don't forget it. Okay, besides me...who absolutely HATES putting up decorations outside? I only say this because every year I plan on going to the dunes over the Tday weekend and every weekend I am here, risking my life decorating the outside of my house. I say that "next year I'm going on strike," but every year...same thing. I would give anything to just go out of town from the day after Tday until January 2. This way there would be no reason to decorate. Well it's over and I'm going to the range tomorrow to put about 1000 rounds down range And then after that, I'm coming home and then sit my a$$ on the couch and watch football and maybe :angry2: Okay here comes my wife....gotta go

Pete you have no idea! There is a guy at work that we are blaming our bad luck on. It all started when he got his car stolen then broke the A/C and transmission in his wife's van. After that, it was all down hill for almost everyone in my department. That would make a good campfire story.

So today I get a call from Wells Fargo fraud department. No biggie as I get them frequently with my business purchases, so I figure it's just no big deal again. Boy was I wrong and holy mother of God was I surprised! I find out that some a$$hat decided to not only use my check card to purchase stuff from the UK, but they also decided to purchase enough stuff to empty my entire account. Now the process of waiting begins to get the money back in my account. The site that was used to purchase a few thousand dollars worth of stuff was www.offgamers.com. Called their customer service department and got to speak to 'ramitupyourasssideways' somewhere in Asia. Well at least I didn't have to press 1 for English. Man I hate a thief, especially some 12 year old computer hacker. It wouldn't break my heart if each and every hacker out there that does this, suddenly wakes up a deaf mute with no fingers and no toes

They have been coming to Dumont since before they were born. I have always taught both my girls and my Son the importance of responsibility out there. When it comes time to leave, I don't have to even ask them to start picking up trash anymore, it just happens. I figure I have a fair chance at them passing it on to their children.

I don't brag about my children, but this is something I really feel is a selfless act by 2 little girls and I am so proud of them! There is a foundation for kids with cancer called Locks of Love. They make wigs from human hair for children who have lost their hair due to therapy. Anyhow, my girls went today and donated their hair. One of the girls donated 16 inches and the other donated 11 inches. It really makes me proud that these girls would do this and did it on their own. They came up with the idea and followed through with it. Now they are going to let it grow and donate it again.

I'm sure most of you heard about this, but if not...a car was traveling North on Eastern right before Windmill this morning and lost control. The LEO's I talked to said the car went at least 15 feet airborn, clearing the railing that's supposed to prevent this from happening. So without further adieu, my pictures from today:

Go with the Wii. My Son as Xbox 360 and my girls monopolize it for Guitar Hero 1,2,3. Now that the Wii has that game, that's a winner. Also, they have to interact by getting off the couch to play. All the games for the Wii are cool as hell.

Some good news today. HPD parking enforcement found the trailer in Henderson on the corner of Amber and Engel. Of course, the bastards that took it stripped all the equipment from it. Well, at least I got my trailer back. Now I'm on the look out of all my equipment. So if you know someone that's starting up a pressure washing business all the sudden, let me know.

I'm going to try and chime in without sounding mis informed or ignorant. The factions that want to shut us down will stop at nothing to succeed. I am in agreement that you cannot fix stupid but, will they: Shut us down for camp racing? Probably not. Shut us down for marking the fingers with rebar, 2x4's, etc? Probably not. Shut us down for parties, fights, fires at Comp? Probably not. Shut us down getting into a vehicle with an open container? Probably not. Shut us down for leaving trash all over the dunes? You betcha Shut us down for burning pallets? Yep Shut us down for riding in closed areas? Oh yeah Shut us down for dumping holding tanks anywhere other than a dump station? Hell yeah My children have been coming to Dumont since before they were born and ever since they were able to pick up a trash bag, they have been educated on how it 'should' be. Education, awareness and a good concious is they key to keeping the tree huggers at bay. As far as the camp racing and stuff, well we need to depend on the LEO's to take care of that but take care of that safely. If an LEO gets hurt out there, trust me, you will have at least 5 other LEO's as cover units standing by until their fellow brother is taken care of and then we are down that many. Since I'm done riding my quad and will find myself in the Rhino or my truck, you bet there will be trash bags in them. Now, I'm not going to be hunting for trash, but if I see it...I will pick it up. We all need to understand that big weekends bring problems, but EVERY weekend brings stuff that the greenies will use against us. So in short, get involved and stay involved, pack it in, pack MORE out. Just my .02
