  1. OK, I will chime in about the weekend and the clean-up. The clean-up went without a hitch and was a great time. We gave out about $5000.00 worth of products and services to a bunch of happy duner's!Lot's of trash was picked up and the area was noticeably cleaner. My thanks to John Daglish, Mike Woods and Ken Allen for their help and support as members of the Board of Directors of FoDD. Also my thanks to Michelle, Rebecca and Kathy plus Mrs. D for your help in the registration booth. The BLM maint. guys were Johnny on the spot with hot dogs, chips and lots of cold beverages. Our thanks to them and to the BLM for the free weekend and the 6 free yearly passes they donated as prizes. Most of all I have to say thank you to the sponsors who donated some great raffle prizes and I had a blast handing them out. Our website is finally being worked on and I will update it as soon as it becomes "alive" again of the list of the sponsors and their donations as soon as possible. The weather was great, the sand was better and the riding was fantastic. I got in a couple of super fast runs with Randog and Lou b and then some nice and mellow stuff with the people in our camp. Overall one of the finest weekends I have had out there in awhile:) Look forward to our 10th annual clean up next march 2012!! Terry
  2. They look like their having a blast. It's great that you treat your dogs like they were your kids, we do the same. One thought and maybe I am over thinking it which happens is maybe putting some kind of restraint up on the chain so it can't get so wound up that if they for some reason were playing unsupervised that the chain couldn't get to wound up as to be a hazard of them getting caught up in it and choking . Like I said I am probably over thinking it but just thought I would throw it out there. Have a good summer !
  3. Mike your welcome to join us old farts over by bathroom #9. Fairly quiet camp, some small kids but mostly older. We like to have a good time but usually in bed by 11 or so:) My coach is a white class A Alfa with a long white trailer and we're usually about 200 feet N/W of #9 crapper. Your welcome to join us if you like. Terry
  4. , Got the raffle prizes loaded up and ready to go. Leaving in the morning. Hope everyone can make it out for the clean up. It's a great cause and it builds lots of good PR with BLM and a lot of others that we don't even talk about. What more can you ask for? Free weekend(no pass required) free lunch, lots of neat raffle prizes and trophies for cleaning up the area we all love.I would suggest that you bring a pair of work gloves for all esp. the kids,as there is usually glass and nails in some of the fire pits and we don't want anyone getting hurt. If you want to bring a yard rake you never know what you might find! Hope to see you all!! Terry P.S. Thank you in advance to all the volunteers!!!!
  5. Want to trade one for a certain orange coffee mug?
  6. Great Stacey, i know Big John is bring one also so we should be set! Thanks
  7. Can anyone bring a table? I have one but will probably need one more at least. Also anybody bringing a flatbed trailer we can use for the raffle? Let me know? Thanks, Terry
  8. Michelle if you could be at the registration area around 7:15/7:30 sat AM it would be appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you, Thanks
  9. Bought this and then decided I didn't need it. it's still in the bag. Purchased from Blazin bell tech for $26.00 will sell for a crisp $20.00 bill. I can deliver to Dumont on clean up weekend if needed.(straps not included) Terry
  10. Just send me a bill I will put it in the stack!
  11. I have been there twice but always in August for the silver's run. I am now going to have to make a winter trip. Great pictures and story Jodi. And your right as I have learned in the last 6 months that things can change in an instant and chances for that last hug go away quickly. Glad you made the trip and I am sure your parents are too.
  12. Oh yeah, knew I was forgetting something "Yamaha of Las Vegas" is the name of the dealership. I advised them to contact you Pete about advertising on the site. My commission is 10%
  13. I had heard a rumor that there was a new Yamaha dealer in Vegas other than the famous R---later's. After a little research I found them on Arby & Rainbow right behind the Carls Jr. I called and stopped by to see if they wanted to get involved in the clean up. I have to say that not only were they generous but are really great people to talk to. Nice selection of bikes and has a special deal on the new Fuel injected YFZ 450 for $5995.00 which I thought was a great price. They will be coming on board with the BLM and the pass sales and I just wanted to let everybody know there is an alternative to that "other " dealership now.
  14. I do have a trick up my sleeve about the free weekend so you never know unless you sign up and grab some garbage whether the man will be at the gate!
  15. Well we're getting close to clean up time so I wanted to check to see what kind of volunteer support we can look for this year. We have always been so lucky with the support of Dumont users so I don't see any reason why that would change but I like to have my ducks in a row as they say. I know that Stacie is planning on coming out for the day and I have heard from Dinacolada and Mrs d that they will be there to help. Any other takers? Please either post or e- mail me to let me know. As with everything in this economy raffle prizes are a little tough to obtain but I do have a few new ones and the other great supporters that are ALWAYS there for us and are again this year. If you know of any business that wants to get their name out there we will take any kind of raffle prize and they get their name mentioned so please ask those that you deal with if they would like to support us. Thanks, Terry
  16. Hey Cole, glad to see you back on DDR! Did your coffee find you yet?
  17. I'm not really looking at a door in a fire with hardware and screws in it am I? I am sure that must be a photoshop right Neal? :freakin_nuts:
  18. Great race but his "Burnout's" will need some work. I think he was in complete disbelief and had no clue what or wheere to go. He drove a great race and i was glad to see some new blood in the winner's circle. Can't say i am a fan of the 2 car draft but looks like it's going to become the only way to win a t a coupe of tracks.
  19. Just out of curiosity what motor and trans is it tabbed for?
  20. Just heard that the wind is picking up and the rain clouds are coming in. Also there is nobody out there. Looks via the forecast that the rain should be over by sometime in the AM and then be a fairly nice weekend from there on. If I didn't feel like hammered sh*t I would hook up and leave now. but it's a stay at home and get feeling better, chicken soup kinda weekend for me. Might have to watch some NASCAR on the TV
  21. If you don't have a buyer on the LED's let me know what your looking to get?
  22. Oh boy a 3 day flatbiller party sign me up!!
  23. Tim, i am out, couldn't stop the creeping crud so I would rather sit home and feel like sh*t then sit in the M/H and feel like sh*t and watch everybody else have fun. Be safe.
