Here are the minutes from the Sub-Group meeting held in Barstow on May 2nd. They are long (7Pages) but very interesting. Please read them as they say a lot about what the sub-Group has accomplished and plans on accomplishing in the future.We had a long meeting as the DAC(Desert Advisory Commission) wants all sub-groups to do an exercise so it can be sent to the DAC and we can see what other groups are doing that's working and not working. Please note that at least twice if not more there is mention of Saturday meetings and getting users to come to them. The next meeting is July 9th which is a Saturday meeting. You will have a great time, matter of fact I have a $100.00 gift certificate to club/bar/resturant right on the beach that we got because we waited all night to get dinner and lousy service. But that's another story, if you want the gift certificate you can have it. Just hook up with me next time your in Henderson and it's on me.

Steve, we have been to the Malibu RV park. and although the drive might be a b*tch, there will be nothing to compare to sitting next to your RV with a cold one watching the sunset or the dolphins playing in the surf. It's a nice park. Try to get a spot that backs up onto the ocean. You can open your back door and sit inside and let nature be your tv.

This Saturday night John Batdorf and special guest James Lee Stanley will be doing an in house concert at the "garage ma hall" Some of you may have seen John play at the coffee shop last June but he and Mark are being inducted into the Las Vegas Music Hall of Fame.This is a full concert not just a couple of songs. James Lee Stanley and John Batdorf did an album together a few years ago of all Rolling Stones songs rearranged and acoustic. They will be doing cuts from that album and many more. Electric jacks will run off the trucks 7 pin connector if the trailer batteries are dead. They also come with a hand crank that goes in the top and you can manually lower or lift the trailer. Not much effort involved and a hell of a lot easier than the old style crank type jacks.

Need someone experienced in Upholstery to install seat slots into a set of RZR S seats to allow seat belt harnesses through. Shouldn't be a big deal but would rather have someone else do it instead of me. Let me know? Terry

Do you know the tongue weight of the trailer? That would help in determining if you can get away with the lighter jack or not. Call Dusty @ Johhny walkers Flamingo/Bldr hwy location and ask him for some advice. Tell him you know me and that may help. Terry

Celebrating my mom's 90th birthday Friday and Saturday so a lot of family in town so no dune trip's for me.Be safe the dunes are already moving to their summer time positions so big drop offs and holes. Terry

Well why you guys were duking it out on this post you all missed one of the best trips of the year. Friday nite was a little cold but woke up Sat to nice temps, no wind and fresh dunes. Had a great day of riding and was amazed at how much fun the new RZR S was. Still not like driving a car but enough to keep you interested and excited at Felt wing a tranny to work with though. Nice night sat. woke up today to a great bright,no wind day. Take note the winds are starting to move the dunes around and the trail you used to take all the time is either not there or has a big hole in it. Be careful the remaining part of the season as the wind and the Sun have changed everything. Didn't see anybody i knew and had a great weekend, Terry

Swing arms are ok but them paddles is gonna kill you. They will rob to much power just to turn them. I had a built banshee and tried 9 paddle haulers and took em back. The 8's were much better but found that comp cut mini desert's worked overall much better for top end.
