You Tube pulled my video

Anyone ever have a video pulled and removed due to a music rights issue? The DDR 06/07 rseason recap video was pulled because the Authority Zero song, Over Seasons in the beginning.

The e-mail said "A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video 06/07 Dumont Dunes season recap."

I added the song to the video FROM A CD I PURCHASED because I like that band. Fuggin stupid petty crap. I undertand the copyright laws and how you cannot reproduce copyrighted material, but come on. I have seen SO MANY other videos on You Tube that are technically "copyright protected or licensed material".

You Tube has an automatic program that will kick out copyrighted stuff now.

Yep some of my other youtube videos were pulled down as well...AND those songs were just playing in the background!! Not really even part of the video except that the radio HAPPENED to be playing in the back ground!!

Mine gave me a warning but said I had permission as long as they could use the video or something to that effect.

Pretty bs in my opinion. We pay to get their music and when we use it they have a say in how it is presented?
