Don't go anywhere on Memerorial Day anymore. Try to plan something a week or so before or after a couple of weeks. OLd folks like me don't do crowds much anymore.

Paddling down the mighty Colorado River on a raft ha ha. No engines this weekend.

Ill be hanging out at LVMS on Friday and Saturday, for the Rockabilly Rod Reunion and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Nastalgia Drags. Never been to see this, should be fun. And Monday (praying for no wind) Ill be hanging at the lake. CANT WAIT for a long great weekend. Then only working 2 days next week and im off on vacation to Houston for 4 days.

String has a wrestling tourney at a local high school. It's the county championships. Ive got the hauler ready to take out there so we don't have to sit in the gym the whole time on uncomfortable bleachers with a bunch of smelly people who don't discipline their kids

Ill be hanging out at LVMS on Friday and Saturday, for the Rockabilly Rod Reunion and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Nastalgia Drags. Never been to see this, should be fun. Heading up to Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Yosemite National Parks. Daughter moved up to Visalia for a teaching gig last summer and of course got the pink slip a couple of weeks ago. Gotta love the California education system, but this will get her mind off of it for a few days.

And of course watch about 1100 miles of some 200+ mph racin' on Sunday.

You guys be safe whatever you choose to do, and don't forget THE REASON that we celebrate this day of remembrance. Too many folks think it's all about the BBQ and the beer. There is a reason that we are able to enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we have.
